While I can not claim that it is a solid and amazingly great novel, I can say that it is a decent novel worth reading. At the very least the buffoonery in the comments is something of a supplement for entertainment. As one moment you will see fools who seem to read a whole new book all together, and the next you will see people magically become the author, and say that things/details formed by the fabric of their imagination happened. Although it sure is a great ride to take, witnessing the heights of stupidity.
A very refreshing novel to read, with a decently planned out plot in the works. The main thing that draws me in is not the system but the mc who is made to be very relatable to your average person. Which I believe will also draw you in, along with the modified cultivation system(power system). In addition to the fact that the mc will be world hopping, meaning that it probably wont be bland or monotonous. And a added bonus to this novel is that the author can actually write normal conversations between people and not change their personality every second nor make everyone a clone of each other when it comes to dialogue. Anyways other than my rant about conversations (I hate Skyrim dialogue so much that I always become a mass murderer), I would recommend this book as it has good potential and a author that knows what their doing. Good on ya author! And thanks for the key to the inn, I'll be enjoying my stay on this adventure. [img=fp]
It never did say he was supposed to be smart though? Also whilst it does have its forced plot here and there, its not that bad as it serves a purpose, be it creating events or interactions. In regards to the "cultivation nonsense", that is true nonsense, as the author clearly expands the typical cultivation system in his/her own way with 'logic'. It seems this is not your novel and what you require my friend, is a sci fi novel full of great science fiction logic (a true wonder of bs). As all cultivation novels are under the fantasy genre which is usually filled with bs logic.
Then the story would be boring and bland, but you do have a point with the major stupid mistakes the mc makes, which could have been written out better. By the way, if the story you want is all about the inn then what's the point of the mc? All you would get if the story was focused on the inn is either a very lowkey or nonexistent mc.
Having enjoyed reading novels with a similar type of system, I was somewhat excited to read this novel. But quickly came to realize that this was merely a meh novel made for the author's wish fulfillment. If your looking for a decent novel to read similar in premise to this, then there is a mtl novel called marvel: unlimited possession. Which is quite better than this in its first half that is. (although the grammar might be hard to bear for some)
