Overall a good novel. As the author promises it avoids most of the cliches/pitfalls of other webnovels. The plot, execution etc are very good. But OMG how verbose it is. Every chapter filled with descriptions after descriptions of the smallest things. The most annoying thing is that they start anywhere, middle of dialogue, scene description, etc so by the time the long meandering descriptions of somethings have ended (which towards the end may not even have any relation with the original context) you would lose track of the original context itself. If author can improve on this aspect and generally the writing quality, then this can be a great book.
It is a good novel. However , i got bored of the novel quickly because of the imbalance in pacing of the novel. The hero levels up quickly till level 42. And then booom..... There is no more progression for the the next 100 chapters. I understand that the author did this to describe the world building. However the author could have mixed levels ups and world building together so that readers would not get bored because of the stalemate in power progression. The MC could have built his kingdom while raising his power at the same time. There is no adrenaline inducing scenes ( fighting/ romantic ) during these hundreds of chapters which makes it seem boring. If the author feels the need to prolong his novel, he could have introduced power levels beyond level 100 . He can introduce new more powerful villains with higher power levels ( or infact new world's to explore) rather than slowing down the pace of the novel. You can introduce rebellions, traitors, new technologies , more lands to explore, more romantic interests more species ........The possibilities are endless. If the MC takes 100 chapters to level up once from level 42 to 43, I can't imagine the number of chapters required for the MC to reach level 100. I stopped reading because of it. I will come back to check it out later to see if the author incorporates these changes
Author says MC's main goal is freedom, yet is currently making him a slave to his mothers sect. Everything he says gets ignored and he is being forced into a position he doesn't want by people he doesn't like. All the while the mother and her family act like he doesn't hate them. This has gotten so much worse.
1st I want to tell the author that hats off you have done amazing work. This will always be on my recommended list of WN. Story concept great, Worldbuilding element all-time favourite of readers, execution fantastic. Character development is ok cuz of 6 years time skip that's ok it is understandable. the romance part is great and the storytelling is good. The most off-putting thing about this novel is the recurring 18+ scenes. yes, it is good to be open minded but it was repetitive. Just pointing out that this deed is happening is ok there is no need to explain every time everything with the same partner. Another thing is the fighting scenes, not so gripping and a bit confusing. Overall a great read. I appreciate your efforts in this novel and I enjoyed the journey till now, hoping for a long journey with every updates.
The way in wich he gets the inheritance is kinda random and forced but besides that everything else is pretty good, there's enough action, cultivation progress, the city management hasn't taken too much or gone into the nitty gritty, the MC has been rational and plans well as far as I've read (ch 70ish), he could have stayed inside the spatial kingdom when he got it, forget about the black plains territory and come out when he's lvl 60-70+ but the story wouldn't be nearly as entertaining
