If I remember correctly it can be farther... but he can't communicate with it. the distance is based on contact and communication.
Here this with a French accent. "I hate you, you evil evil man." You are one of the best writers in modern times. To me, on the level of Michael Moorcock, Peter F Hamilton or Roger Zelazny and the Books from the House of Amber...
Aiight... well it looks as if he has. he was warned, told be careful what he wished for.... told not to do it on multiple occasions. His future self told his past self not to do it. What more do you need to understand it's a bad course of action? Now he's truly lost.

Yeah... if sunny becomes a sovereign his dominion my would be shadows...
I keep thinking like this. a deities portfolio. think about this. in D&d wish spells cost a years life. What is a year to an immortal divinity? Imagine combining those two things within a certain radius. Authority over a portfolio backed by the power of a gods will and his worshipers... That's a gods domain. He's never outright beaten greater beings. He always fought smarter. Remember the Titan that kicked him and almost killed him. He killed it because another corrupted beast had whittled its health down before hitting it with that explosive javelin. Even when he killed Dearon it was after it was hurting from another battle.
It's really just sinking in but I completely dislike that he's lost the twilight crown and Dearon of the Twilight Sea. Daeron was my absolute favorite Aspect of Sunless. I loved that he had his Heir apparent.
Oh how wrong were we...
