Synopsis

After the alarms, sirens and nuclear warnings, Kai wakes up in an empty white room. With no idea what to do, he just waits for anything to happen...hoping something will happen. Only when the voice of...something... breaks him out of the monotonous life of the white room, he realises the problems he will have to face just to survive. Note - First few chapters are slow, monotonous and downright terrible, I mean, just going back and looking at chapter three has me cringing. My writing gets better as the story goes on, but it still has a few info dumps. The first few chapter are the shortest by far, like chapter 30 is the same length as 1, 2 and part of ch 3 combined. Honestly, you can just skim the first five and then maybe read it a little more in depth. Thanks, and please, go easy on the first chapters, I already hate them. Schedule is new chapter every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

In the days before skyscrapers, before the continents shifted into their current place, before even written word, it is said that the Sun and the Moon would shine on the Earth in tandem. The warm Sun loved the Moon and so gave parts of its light to the cold Moon which proudly shone the reflected light granted to her by her lover. The warm touch of Sunlight kept the humans on Earth alive, their crops thriving and their skin warm and brown. The Sun kept the humans alive, and She shone down on them with a smile, proud to be theirs.... And so the Moon was banished into the Night, where she shone her milky light onto an empty sleeping world below. The lovers were separated, but to keep them apart was impossible. And thus the deities were born. —————— The Deities, the physical manifestation of the Sun and the Moon, forever cursed to reincarnate and find each other anew each time. On Lucian's 16th birthday, he is awakened to his power as the Moon. Surrounded by an odd group of allies, he sets out on a search to find his Sun and save her from whatever fate may await them both at the hands of their many enemies. —————— DISCLAIMER: Not my art in the cover. This did go above my expectations, considering the were low, but I was pleasantly surprised. The MC is realistic. No way too calm or too OP, the MC either gets lucky or carried but has potential to grow. Stories where the MC is overpowered from the start are boring imo, so this is right up my alley.

Yeah I'm rating for myself, if I don't do it first who will? Anyway, I appreciate anyone who reads this, even if you quit at chapter one it's still one extra read for me, still, I would appreciate you more if you read all the chapters though. As is said in the overview, I aim to have characters with their own personalities and goals, an immersive world and hopefully a good romance subplot (which will probably take me a while, I quite like slow burn). If you would ever so kindly leave your own reviews and critiques it would be very helpful, so thank you in advance.

This work is a great find! At first, it seems like a common or unpretentious work, like any work in the "transmigration" genre, which is popular at the moment. However, it is fortunate that this is not the case. At the beginning (and it continues to be because the work is just beginning), we see a clearly stupid and innocent MC, something that should be expected from a high school student on Earth. However, it seems to me that he has great adaptation, in addition to having a great ability to control his "negative" emotions in difficult times. I hope that throughout the work the MC continues to develop, but not just in issues related to his abilities and powers, but his character. He is still very innocent and has a strong tendency to trust the people around him a lot, something that bothers me. I believe that some traumas and situations in a harsh and cruel scenario make you understand that trust is something rare to find, but first you must trust your own powers and abilities and then trust someone else.
