Personal Mission From Edward

Sloan sat in his dimly lit office, staring at the phone that had just hung up. His heart was pounding, and his mind was racing. He knew this call could mean everything or nothing, and he couldn't afford to make any mistakes.

Sloan couldn't help but wonder if his business was discovered and if the Templars had finally caught up with him.

Fox and her knowledge, and Sloan knew he couldn't afford to gamble with his fate. He had to act fast and create favorable conditions for himself. He walked towards the secret room where the loom of fate was located.

As he entered the room, Sloan took a deep breath and muttered, "It's just a machine." He remembered the method he found in the ancient classics and started manipulating the loom of fate to weave his own destiny.

The loom started weaving according to his wishes, and Sloan watched as it wrote special codes onto the fabric. He carefully wrote the names of Fox, Carlos, Gunsmith, and Butcher. Then he paused momentarily and smiled wryly before writing his name onto the cloth.

Sloan Kenway.

As he walked out of the secret room, he felt a sense of relief. He knew he had done everything he could to control his fate.

....

"Congratulations, sir! After confirmation, you have completed your entry assessment task and have become an official killer of the Continental Hotel. You now have access to all our services," the polite receptionist Karen said to Jack.

"Thank you," Jack nodded, playing with the slightly larger secret order in his hand, "What is this?"

"This is your blood contract, sir. Every killer has a blood contract. If someone has your blood contract, you must complete everything he asks you to do. After completing it, you will be canceled," Karen explained.

"A kind of enforceable contract," Jack said, "Why?"

"Because this is the regulation of the High Table," Karen smiled, "The High Table is above everything else."

"Okay, I understand," Jack said, "What if I need help from others?"

"Please be careful, sir. Unless absolutely necessary, do not ask for help at the price of a blood contract," Karen warned.

"Understood," Jack said, "Thank you for clarifying."

"My honor. Also, what sir has said, I have conveyed it to Mr. John Wick," Karen said.

"Oh? What did he say?" Jack asked curiously.

"Sir, Mr. Wick's exact words are--my memory has always been very good," Karen said with a smile.

"You're wrong. He should have said that with a straight face and no expression instead of a smile," Jack joked.

Karen was momentarily stunned, not knowing how to respond.

Feeling refreshed, Jack left the Continental Hotel.

Karen picked up the phone and called Winston, the person in charge of the hotel.

"Sir, Mr. Jack has completed the assessment task and become an official killer."

"Interesting, really interesting," Winston looked at the content on the phone with great interest. He naturally has authority as the person in charge of the hotel. He can directly see all the information and tasks under Jack's name from the background.

"This man is really interesting."

"Sir?" Karen naturally couldn't understand.

"Exclusive personal missions. How long has it been since this kind of mission appeared?" Winston sipped wine, "This person's skills are true. What Wick said is not an exaggeration."

"Exclusive personal mission..." Karen said.

Although there are such missions, only a few people will use them due to the need to pay a higher price to issue them.

"Sir, you mean... ..."

"Yes, just now, Jack received an exclusive personal mission," Winston said, looking at the records with great interest,

"Edward, The president and chairman of the multinational pharmaceutical group, through using the surveillance video, found Jack and issued a personal mission to him."

Jack did not disguise himself when blocking Fox, so hidden surveillance cameras also directly photographed his face.

"Interesting. What does he want to do?" Jack naturally saw the task on his mobile phone,

"You paid such a high price just to meet me?" At first, Jack thought that he would never see Edward again.

"But now..."

"It seems that you like to deal with the devil, Mr. Edward," Jack said to himself and called Wick.

"What's the matter?" After a few seconds, Wick's rather uncomfortable voice came from the phone.

Jack keenly heard Wick's rapid breathing and another gasp and immediately understood that his call was not at the right time.

"It seems that my phone call has delayed your exercise in bed," Jack said,

"Then I will call back in 5 minutes... 5 minutes should be more than enough for you, right?" Jack said with a chuckle, anticipating Wick's reaction.

"Who is it?" Helen, the woman who made Wick obsessed, asked with resentment.

"A bastard," Wick's face darkened, "A bastard who might get me out of there completely!"

"Ah, take not so hard ~" Helen tried to calm Wick down, but he was still clearly agitated and started ramming like a bull.

Meanwhile, Jack had boarded his plane and settled into his seat, reviewing the details of his latest assignment.

...

Edward Group's CEO office was adorned with state-of-the-art technology and furniture, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the bustling city below. Edward, the CEO himself, was deep in thought, contemplating his next move. He knew that his life was in danger, and he knew who wanted him dead and why.

He called for a board meeting, and after a heated discussion, they decided. Edward would lower the prices of his drugs, fulfilling his promise to Jackl while simultaneously crushing his rival, Mason's pharmaceutical company. The Edward Group was already a huge multinational corporation with a monopoly on most market channels. However, their high prices had created a niche for other shoddy pharmaceutical companies like Mason's to thrive.

But now, after Mason had crossed the line by sending assassins after him, Edward knew he had to strike back, and this was the perfect opportunity. He understood that reducing the price of his drugs would offend Mason and other powerful individuals.

With that in mind, Edward decided to take a drastic step. He had obtained Jack's identity information through hidden cameras in his villa. He reached out to the High Table to issue a personal mission. This would ensure that a skilled protector like Jack would be at his side, making him feel safe and secure.

The exclusive personal mission was an expensive but effective way to secure protection while achieving other objectives besides killing. The female killer Mason hired had already taken out several of his own security guards. Still, even she had no chance against Jack.

Edward Group's CEO office was now silent, and Edward was still deep in thought, contemplating his next move. He knew this was a risky decision, but he was willing to take that chance for his company and his own safety.
