well all magic has there limits before they need magic pumped into it to make it stronger and yes mc level also has a small impact on spell effects

Finally I noted there glossy yellow skin and their brown chocolate hair which was filled with blue icecubes. okay let me put it into perspective. Mc chose to study magic and in return he gained utility and strength over the 200 years and honestly even if mc kills a tier 3 and that's if he's lucky he wouldn't even gain 1000 exp so the fact he gained enough to even level up a couple times is kinda amazing.
