Chapter 93: Billy The Ambassador

At first, Billy was kind of upset about being sent out of the country, away from the battlefield. Why couldn't he stay and defend the place he grew up? After all, he was the supreme commander, one of the two people directly under his uncle, and amongst the strongest in the land of Ooo. Instead, he found himself playing ambassador to a land he barely even knew.

"More tea, Sir Billy?" Billy was snapped from his thoughts by the question from the short pink figure sitting right across from him. She sat in a chair made of green and white candy cane. On instinct, Billy raised the admittedly tiny cup in his hands towards Princess Bubblegum, who appeared to be somewhere in her mid-teens.

"I'm good princess thanks anyways thought" Billy responded, declining the offer politely. He received a nod from the princess before she returned to drinking her tea. She seemed to enjoy the view of the balcony overlooking her city, which looked admittedly impressive, even if it was still less than 20% completed.

'This is booooooorrrrrring,' That's all Billy could think as he sat there. He had done nothing but spend time drinking tea, eating sweets, or generally having a chill time. It didn't really sit well with Billy, considering he spent his life either training or fighting gigantic monsters. While it might seem lame or boring to most, it was what quelled his adventurous spirit.

"So, Princess Bubblegum, what's your opinion on the Ice King?" Billy asked, hoping to lessen his boredom with some simple conversation. The princess seemed clearly surprised by Billy's sudden interest in conversation, as he hadn't been much of a talker during his time there.

"I honestly think the Ice King must be really nice, all things considered," Princess Bubblegum spoke passionately, almost admirably. "He's been sending his knights to all corners of Ooo to eliminate monsters and creatures of malevolent nature for decades. I've even heard stories of how his knights carry boxes of food where ever they go in order to feed the starving. So, I assume the king of such a people has to be just as kind, maybe even kinder." Just as quickly as she began, she stopped, as if realizing she might have been a bit too energetic.

"PRINCESS PRINCESS TROUBLE TROUBLE" Before Billy could respond a short man with red and white hair came rushing in panic clear on his face as hes followed by a pair of banana guards who echoed his words

"Huh, what's wrong?!" Princess Bubblegum asked, clearly worried to see her people so panicked about something.

"A troll has appeared, and it's terrorizing a nearby village! It's already taken down seven Banana Guards!" Peppermint Butler began, but he couldn't continue as Billy stood up from his chair, sword raised in excitement. He immediately asked where the troll was located, ready to fight and quench his boredom.

"Sir Billy, you shouldn't. My people will deal with this," Princess Bubblegum said to Billy, clearly worried. However, Billy, not wanting to be stopped from his fun, raised his hand, signaling for the princess to halt as he spoke.

"Please allow me to deal with this. It's the least I could do," he said, not waiting for another response. Quickly, he left, making sure to grab Peppermint Butler along the way. He needed him to direct him to where he needed to go.

*20 minutes later*

*RAWR*

Arriving at the location where the troll was attacking, Billy was impressed to see the troll standing an impressive 15 feet tall, six feet taller than the trolls in the far north. But that didn't deter him one bit; if anything, it only excited him more to slay the big green giant before him.

So like that began the story of the legendary hero of Ooo Billy.
