I don't believe Snape had any justification in examining his bloodline report or sharing it with the whole school. there better be severe backlash for him
who knows what the magical laws are for opening other people's mail? rowling never covered it that i can recall.
ChaoticMoonFang:It would be worse had he not have the letter read in public as soon as possible otherwise It would mark him as dangerous any attempt to clear that out later would be seen or framed as a cover up that Dumbledore sacrificed a bit of his reputation to protect him. Him being marked as dangerous could invite the ministry or the old houses to meddle.
