Yes, the novels are slow paced. and although I believe that this is a masterpiece, I think this pace is not suitable for everyone. I guess it really depends on taste.

ive had exactly the same experience

20 chapters is kind of low though. the story didn't even start by then. give it at least 100 chapters, the current Arc (which starts at chapter 30 and still ongoing by chapter 250) is like a rollercoaster. I feel like the story got extremely good towards 100. then showed down a fair bit between 100~150 and picked up again up to now. some portions are epic.

Sorry but 100’ chapters in and you are wrong! People cant appreciate a good story because they want a storyline that tells on itself 20 chapters in. Its your loss

Opinions can't be wrong

If someone has the opinion that the earth is flat, they are wrong. I don't understand the take that opinions can't be wrong.

Some opinions can be wrong but dependingbon the subject some things have no absolute right answer, comparing something like earth being round and whether a story is progressing too slowly isn't realistic comparison... Some say it's slow while others say it's progressing at a normal pace.

I can see this is directed at my reply even though you didn't actually reply to me. Why? Some opinions can't be wrong that's true but saying flat out "opinions can't be wrong." is absurd. Many opinions can be wrong and then another set of opinions can be brain dead but not flat out wrong or right. Like enjoying eating extremely burnt food, can't really be wrong for enjoying that but it's incredibly unusual. All I wanted to point out originally was the flawed logic of "opinions can't be wrong" That blew my mind when I read it, an incredibly childish opinion that is, ironically, wrong lol.

The good thing about the author is, that he at least does not delete critical reviews like most other Authors here like MyLittleBrother etc.

depends how you define opinion. generally an opinion cant be wrong but I like this quote about it, "All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated and well supported in logic and argument than others." An opinion is generally supposed to be something personal like preferring one movie to another which can't be incorrect because it's your personal opinion and preference. saying the earth is flat isn't rlly an opinion, its a mistaken belief, a rejection of proven fact. I dont rlly care to have this discussion anyways so carry on

You realize you're regurgitating what he just said right? "Generally an opinion can't be wrong" did you hear yourself, the point of his argument was stating that some opinions are wrong, but your argument against that is unintentionally agreeing with it. Also, you can't distinguish between an opinion and a "mistaken belief" any opinion that doesn't aline with yours can be seen as a mistaken belief. If in 1920 someone's opinion is Stalin is a great person that is both their opinion and a mistaken belief as it is wrong. Just like enjoying burnt food, which normally is borderline inedible.

Explain that again but with the flat Earth subject. Earth is not flat and it's a proven fact, so if someone has an 'opinion' that Earth is flat, then it's not an opinion.

Well, it's their view or judgment that the government and world have lied which is still an opinionated belief as there isn't factual evidence.

That's alright, I've heard the same from some... giraffes I was showing the novel to. Their reaction didn't fit in with the rest of the animals I saw in the zoo, but that's perfectly acceptable (mainly cuz they are giraffes). Yes, this is a joke.
