This is trash. basically a VRMMO. You'd have more fun watching paint dry. There is no thrill of the character getting stronger. no action in the fights so bland even the mc gets bored, and the worst world-building I've ever seen. Go read something good. (I recommend Shadow Slave)

Well if you look back it actually was explained in depth. For starters, the attribute is called 'Clear Conscious' meaning you can assume it has to do with what sunny views as a lie or deceit. So if someone asks a direct question that he knows the answer to but avoids it to hide something the flaw will stop him. Also, it is explained that the runes that the spell translates are usually approximations, like how Nephis's runes the spell translates to changing star while it is revealed it could just as easily mean ruinous star.

Sunny thought about it. Strangely, his Flaw was silent, not forcing him to answer one way or the other.

You can find some reference art on the discord posted by the author but non of it is going to be the official art for the characters. If I recall it correctly the author said he didn't want to impede the reader's imagination by giving official artwork and essentially telling the readers that their image of the characters was wrong.

Well, it's their view or judgment that the government and world have lied which is still an opinionated belief as there isn't factual evidence.

I'm abhorred by the number of people that have given this novel a rating lower than 4 stars. (more than 1) I'd like to say everyone is entitled to an opinion, but they're all objectively wrong. The most any of them have to complain about is the pace of the story and this is the most balanced and naturally developing story on this god-forsaken app. The only reason to hate this is if you've become so accustomed to all the garbage that you forgot what a good story was. After searching far and wide I am disappointed to say there is absolutely no novel on here that stands out quite like this one. The expanse and ambition of the world are unmatched as far as fantasy goes. Not to mention easily the best attention to characters on here. All of the would-be side characters are real enough to be their own protagonists, not once have I thought they were anything less than alive. Apart from all the harem rats and all the cheat system degenerates no one can refute this is a Good story. Such so that it isn't deserved on this site, but now that I've found it reading anything else is like trying to drink sand, now that I've finally tasted water there's no going back to the desert, I'm just left waiting in this oasis dreaming of the day the water line rises... Or when the sun burns me to a crisp and releases me from the need to drink. (read at your own risk)

You realize you're regurgitating what he just said right? "Generally an opinion can't be wrong" did you hear yourself, the point of his argument was stating that some opinions are wrong, but your argument against that is unintentionally agreeing with it. Also, you can't distinguish between an opinion and a "mistaken belief" any opinion that doesn't aline with yours can be seen as a mistaken belief. If in 1920 someone's opinion is Stalin is a great person that is both their opinion and a mistaken belief as it is wrong. Just like enjoying burnt food, which normally is borderline inedible.

This was how the young Sleepers had subconsciously divided themselves. The only exception from this rule was the silver-haired girl, who stood alone and apart from everyone, seemingly indifferent to tension and nervousness that permeated the air. She was leaning against a wall with her eyes closed, still listening to music.

It's so cool how much the author is able to throw in things like this throughout the story while still being relevant to the plot. Also, the blind spot on both our eyes is actually quite significant located on the nasal side, and is about 1.5 mm in diameter or about the size of a pinhead but when looking far away or focusing on an object in between your eyes they can become apparent.

An almost invisible gray ripple in the world that my eyes refused to linger on. I couldn't focus my gaze on it, couldn't even focus my mind on it. We don't really see things with our eyes; more often than not, we see things with our brains. The brain is a miraculous machine built by millions of years of evolution. At some point, evolution had decided that perceiving things fast was more important than perceiving them clearly. That's why our brain is in a habit of making assumptions, transforming visual feedback into information based on past experiences. Show a man a familiar shape, and he will name it without taking in the details, even if these details are in direct contradiction with this shape's true form. This way we can react to danger faster, survive longer, continue breathing.

So... my desire is to live in a hellish world full of monsters while overcome by hopelessness and misery? Probably why I like dark souls and Shadow Slave so much.

'Well. I guess there are two types of good books. One type is pretty self-explanatory: it lets you live a piece of life that you yourself will never get to live. And the more you're caged in by the diminishing amount of possibilities in your life, the more seductive these are.'

Lol, if they were actually cheaper that would make them more profitable, that's why they won't be used over petrol because it is too expensive. Maybe in another 50 years when the technology has developed and becomes cheaper, it will be dominant but it's useless to do so before then because it would just damage the power grid and economy. That's why solar and wind bearly make up 8% of global energy production.

I suppose he's implying the sprinkle of Gary being the reason they're gay.

Shouldn't it be possible to talk to his shadow if the shadow responded in text or runes?

Sunny was pretty sure that his shadow was capable of much more than just being a silent follower. After all, the Spell had described it as being an invaluable helper. It was now up to him to find out how exactly Shadow Control could be of help.
