It's really bad! Don't recommend at all!!! His subordinate went against him time and time again and he practically did nothing but cus at her plus the system rewards are sh*t like [mission: save a girl, reward: that girl as a subordinate] / [misson: kill marines, reward: bounties!!!] Like what the hell does that mean the system had no hand in making those things happened it's just consequences of the mcs actions.

Is this going to keep happening because it's starting to get really annoying! And him being a warlord will fight against whitebeard and if she keeps going on the same note she will 100% betray him to save a ace which is frustrating in itself because he saved her!

He literally summerised my feelings and frustration about the mc in this one paragraph! With his advantages he should be way ahead of this level yet he's flopping around how to fight the basilisk let alout his abismal physical abilities that he did nothing to correct! He is a reincarnator he should know how such a weakness is easily taken advantage of instead he studing magic and as a "scholar" as if it will make him invinsible, newsflash scholors don't survive in the real world that the author is trying to build!

Ritual magic is such an underrated magic branch that in the tens of ff of HP that I've read none utilized or explored it well because of "moral code" of the mcs! So if someone has any recommendation for a ritual magic focused ff pls cmmt!!
Deciding to focus on the ritual instead, Harry slowly walked towards the hidden ritual rooms. Harry put on his ritual robes and mask and ignored the weird feedback from his arcane hearing of the ambient magic sliding off the robes. He saw the first years follow a prefect towards the general ritual room. Harry followed them from behind and took a place in the large circle around the room. Harry didn't really have the resources to start a ritual of his own and honestly, he didn't need to. Unless he was planning something fundamentally different instead of the standard ritual, like using human sacrifices or something that disturbing, there wasn't really a reason not to just use the general one. - Chaosscythe10dCommentedHonestly, the Dursleys from the stories felt more like a caricature of the evil stepmother from the Cinderella story than real people. He couldn't imagine ever people being so obsessed with being normal that they would treat their nephew as a slave. That was especially stupid when that particular nephew would one day be a wizard that could kill them in seconds with barely more than a few waves of a wand, and even hide any evidence of the encounter.

He had in mind something halfway between a zanbato and a dodao. A long single curved clever edge type sword a bit longer than a longsword with a wide blade and longer than normal handle for both single handed and dual grip strikes. It was long enough to attack as he pleased, sharp enough to bisect a man or beast in one strike, yet light enough to use quickly with his strength.

Rituals!!! the best branch of magic!
After trying to reproduce all these techniques, I realized that any spell with destructive elements, like fire and lightning, will have limitations. Techniques like this can sometimes end up doing damage to me, as I'm not immune to them like the anime characters. And chidori and raikiri were a great example, so I can only use techniques that don't involve contact with me or that aren't dangerous, as the water element wouldn't hurt me with the contact. But this problem is temporary, I will find a way to be able to use all the techniques without having to suffer from their retreat. - Chaosscythe14dCommented

With this understood Nick would never utilize this ritual unless he felt like the power boost was his only course of action. He was well aware that his natural maturation alone would likely place him at tier five or maybe even six due to the extreme rate of growth it had so he wasn't too worried about becoming powerful as in time it was practically guaranteed. What he wanted was to reach his full potential however so despite having great power as a future guarantee he sought ways to truly squeeze out every ounce of bonus growth he could before he matured and his magical growth slowed to a snails pace.- - Chaosscythe15dCommented

It was likely what the "elixir of life" actually was was pure lifeforce distilled into liquid form that likely removed the effects of aging or injury on the body. Nick didn't think any lower of the great alchemist despite figuring it out as what he did while certainly not righteous was also not evil , merely opportunistic. More than likely the way Flammel saw it was that since these people were going to die either way he might as well use them for his own benefit.- - Chaosscythe15dCommented
I'm still not understanding the role of the ring ghosts!? it seems to me he's making them corporal for not benefit so far whereas in the beginning he set out to make a loyal ghost army!
Unfortunately that subject was extremely advanced and he had made absolutely zero progress in learning it. The reason for this was simply the fact that the stuff was heavily built upon arithmancy which Helena refused to teach him for some reason. Oh he had definitely asked several times but she always avoided the subject somehow. The worse part in his opinion was that she never explained why she didn't want to teach him the subject. Left with little option he was forced to try and figure it out himself via the books in the library.- - Chaosscythe16dCommented
Is it just me that feels she wasted more than one wish! I'm used to mcs who combine a bunch of stuff into one wish!
