actually he doesn't know that. li chunhua saw him loitering around and broke his plan. the scene is not happening inside his head but rather from omniscient pov of what happened in the past. because the main focus is dai zhiqiang, the narration mostly revolved around him, but the whole chapter was actually meant to be in omniscient pov. hope this explanation helps! ^^

oh, i'm sorry for my late reply. i got a lot of comments in a day so yours is kinda buried deep among the others 😂 if things goes according to my plan, then i plan to wrap this book around january or early february. rough estimation is another 150 chaps or so starting from the most recent chaps i made (chap 600). hope this helps you 🙏

I'm always impressed by how amazing Lily's writing style is, so you don't have to worry about writing quality because she always brings the best to the table! The FL is headstrong, independent, and knows clearly what she wants. Its only been few chapters but I can't help but want to root for her. The story is very interesting so far with neat world background. I can't wait for more!
