Not even close to being as bad as in the city, where millions leave instead of rural places where you may have to walk for miles to meet your neighbor if you find a big territory. You would struggle to find a place ready for the apocalypse even more in a city so it's not a unique problem to rural areas, but they are at least much less densely population and have access to water sources and food

Pretty bad overall. The author doesnt know how to write proper dialogues and they are very stiff. The entire novel is him telling whats happening insteaf of showing us with his writing. He doesnt even give us the appearance of the characters, which are extremely bland and cliche for this genre. This feels more like a draft than a properly written story
