it's not about farming at all, he does no farming (planting, husbandry, etc...) he has farm related weapons.
Story is quite mediocre, but the writing isn't bad in spite of a few errors here and there. The character progression at the beginning is too fast, by chapter 30 he is already defeating a descended God. Ever life or death situation he overcomes with heavy plot armor usage, and the antagonist might as well break their own necks. I'm the beginning the MC demonstrates as an asexual Chinese protagonist, but is later portrayed as someone who wants to fuck his sister 🤮. As mentioned above this character is your cliche Chinese protagonist who wants to ascend heaven. it's okay for a light read, but between the character pacing and ridiculous use of plot armor, will probably get old sooner rather than later. last but not least, beware of these five star reviews on any novel, they are generally misleading.
I'm coming from Elyon's other book, 'Strongest Necromancer of Heavens Gate,' which I highly recommend. However, this book so far is very lackluster and inorganic. This story feels more like a side project than an actual project. Nonsensical things happen just to move the story along. I know the story just started, but this one seems like it's going to be one of the author's worst works.
Overall the novel is mediocre, and okay for killing time. I'm currently 100 chapters into this novel. Though the MC is a reincarnated cultivator it has very little influence on the story. Other than some fighting techniques, old pills, and very little old fashion cultivating the MC doesn't use his past knowledge at all. So in that regard this story is more of a sci-fi novel, than a cultivation sci-fi fusion novel. During the story you learn almost nothing about his past life, other than he was a subpar cultivator. I found it somewhat difficult to connect with the MC, as most of his relationships are not really well fleshed out. Also, the MC's personality is somewhat unstable. Sometimes the MC acts like a young adult, others a wise cultivator, and other times like a child. It's like the MC is going through a constant identity crisis. I'm also confused at how a former cultivator who has wiped out countless lives and seen the worst of humanity, is stunned by some of the stuff he witnesses. My biggest gripe with the MC is that he's really just a cog in the machine, and doesn't have any real goals. Even if he was the climb to the Pinnacle of the armed forces, he'd still just be a cog, and nothing special. The MC is currently going on missions, but they are quick and he is efficient...so efficient there is no thrill in reading the mission chapters. The writing quality starts off pretty bad, but get better in the later chapters. Overall not a bad novel, but nothing revolutionary here.
they are pedophiles, 😬
😂, Im gonna check this out just because of this review. I'm excited to be disappointed. Thank you for the honest review.
Interesting premise undermined by poor writing. The author's grammatical errors make this story hard to read. Aside from the grammatical errors, the pacing for the story is a little off and the characters are uninspiring. I found it hard to make an emotional attachment with any of the characters of this novel, and I fail to see how people are rating this as five stars. I see the vision, but the execution of this novel is poor.
So she (Reinelle) isn't upset that over 100 weak and powerless people were killed...but she is upset that demons killed 1,000s of weak and powerless people? That makes no sense....Also, he is only motivated to deal with the cultist because his butterfly saw people being murdered, but not because people were murdered 😅.
protecting and attacking lmao
why is there a trip alarm for the third floor, seems so out of place. The bad guy isn't even top level, is a wastrel, and has no money.
if you're going to get revenge later, it would be better to invest in getting stronger first.
So no one is going to comment on the fact he is now facing hundreds of skeletons, vs his team of three. I don't care how much strength he has, he would realistically be mobbed to death...
