DreamThree
I've read up till the paid-chapters (ch 38), and due to financial reasons I can no longer enjoy this story *no, I'm not sad or anything* ~proceeds to look away to hide his manly wet eyes~ Ok, enough joking, I just wanna say that I'm not a professional reviewer/writer or anything like that. I'm just a guy who liked what he read and is deciding to give his two-cents about it. Writing Quality: 5/5 At no point did I feel I had to re-read any segments due to mistakes in writing. I don't know, maybe I missed some misspelling or punctuation errors or something, but to me it felt smooth and very enjoyable. Stability of Update: 4/5 I started reading this when there were already over 100+ chapters available. I don't know what the release schedule is like either and I only read the available free chapters anyway. It wouldn't feel fair if I gave a perfect score here since I didn't experience having to wait for an update for this novel. Story Development: 5/5 Very enjoyable! The pacing is great and constantly in motion. I love how it just starts off running with the opening competition, feels very Dark Souls to me. Not much hand holding for an intro, but darn if it doesn't get you engaged quickly. Character Design: 5/5 I sincerely cannot say anything negative about any of the characters. I'm legit sitting here trying to think about anything bad that could bring this down, but I just can't. Great job here! World Background: 5/5 Again, can't say anything negative here either. I specially enjoy all the user names as well. Overall: I like this novel, truly, I do. If you (yes you, I see you there, pay attention) have read the authors other work 'My Hollywood System' and enjoyed that, then you'll enjoy this novel as well. If you haven't read it, then I highly suggest you do. Seriously though, it's a great read. The pacing is good, nothing feels 'forced', I haven't noticed any 'tropes' or 'cliches' yet. If I were to make any sort of suggestion though, and please feel free to disregard it, is to suggest some sort of songs/movies to go along with the novels songs/movies. I'm not saying to have the works be copied word for word, no no no, I'm only saying to suggest a song to go along with a novel song so that the reader could have some sort of idea of the melody you're trying to portray. It'll only help to enhance the readers experience when following Aiden's journey, or at least that's what I'm hoping it would do. Any-hoo, like I said before, I'm not a professional anything. Just a guy who liked what he read and now I'm just trying to let others know that this novel is something you should check out.
This novel is absolutely amazing. I had extremely low expectations when I initially started reading. I thought it would be boring and not captivating enough because I felt the story premise was too bland and uninteresting I was proved wrong not even up to 20 chapters later as I was completely hooked. The author did the story extreme justice. Interesting plot line, hard working mc, hype and the Hollywood feeling. the system is not busted and the mc isnβt reliant on it. Extremely impressed with this novel!!
I'll be honest I'm kinda biased since I'm a fan of the Authors novel 'My Hollywood System' .................................................................. This novel is really well written, the Author has kept the flow of the novel consistent allowing full submersion into the novel, there is so grammatical mistakes but hardly noticeable. the world background isn't too deep bit mainly due to only 10 chapters released so far. And so far the Mc is really tolerable and is competent in achieving his goals with the help of the system. To get a better idea of this novel I'll need atleast 50 chapters but so far it's a great novel.
A must read! ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
"Versatile Superstar: Rise In Hollywood" is an engaging novel that immerses readers in the pursuit of the American Dream through the eyes of Aiden, a determined protagonist. After facing countless challenges and nearing the point of giving up, Aiden's fortunes change when he encounters a mysterious System that sets him on a journey to Hollywood. With his mesmerizing singing talent, Aiden captivates the world and takes his first steps towards stardom. While the novel bears similarities to "My Hollywood System," the author brings a fresh perspective while incorporating familiar elements from the world of Hollywood, showcasing the protagonist's growth and determination in the face of adversity.
This deserves to be #1. I was just checking the rankings and read it. Didn't expect it to be so good because most of the one's on the list are just overhyped. One thing is this is a must read. The character has a system yet still really intelligent. He is consistent throughout the story and all the things just makes sense to me.
