Chapter 38 A Pile of Steel!!!

Chapter 38 A Pile of Steel!!!

Leon was left speechless. Initially, he had only come here as a bodyguard, intending to do Tony a favor in a critical moment or something like that.

However, he never anticipated becoming Obadiah's primary target. The level of animosity is off the charts, isn't it?

Isn't that just swindling 130 million? Isn't that the next level? What gives?

Can't you speak? He's incredibly cunning and deceitful.

"I'm going to kill you!" Obadiah bellowed. Seeing that the weapons on his body were completely useless against Leon, he simply charged forward, swinging the terrifying iron fist of the Iron Monger straight towards Leon's face.

With a loud 'bang,' the Iron Fist came to a halt right in front of Leon.

Leon levitated slowly, effortlessly raising his palm to block the Iron Monger's attack.

Obadiah clenched his teeth and exerted his utmost strength to push forward with the Iron Monger's arm, while simultaneously controlling the other hand to strike.

Yet, Leon remained unfazed, raising his other hand once again to block the Iron Monger's attack.

"Tsk tsk tsk," Leon shook his head, unable to resist smacking his lips. "Are you a fool? Your weapons are of no help to me, let alone your fists?"

As he said that, Leon was about to exert force with his hands and tear off the Iron Monger's arms.

But suddenly, Tony, who had been thrown aside, rushed back, swiftly wrapping his arms around the Iron Monger's waist and bursting out from one side.

Leon released his grip in time; otherwise, Tony wouldn't have been able to escape with the Iron Monger.

"Boom."

Even the walls of the studio, constructed by the Stark Group, now had a gaping hole in them.

The two steel behemoths clashed their way onto the streets.

"Boom bang bang."

The sound of steel colliding reverberated outside. One didn't need to guess to know that Tony and the Iron Monger were locked in battle.

Leon was considering taking a seat again, thinking it would be fine to leave it to Tony.

However, the Iron Monger's body reentered through the hole.

It turned out Obadiah relied on the sheer weight and strength of the Iron Monger, along with its formidable armor, to forcefully send Tony flying once more.

To be fair, Iron Man outshines the Iron Monger in nearly every aspect except durable and strength.

Without a doubt, the Iron Monger currently held the upper hand, but that didn't mean Tony couldn't develop heavy armor himself.

Not to mention the Anti-Hulk armor. For instance, Mark 38 is a heavy armor suit that can surpass the capabilities of the Iron Monger.

Certainly not the thirty-eighth generation at present.

Consequently, Tony suffered one setback after another. The Iron Monger consistently brushed off his attacks, while its counterattacks caused him harm.

However, Leon didn't anticipate that Obadiah hadn't given up on him. After knocking Tony aside, he redirected his attention back to Leon.

Leon found it amusing. "Since you insist on seeking death, then I shall grant your wish."

As he uttered those words, Leon finally launched a decisive attack, transforming into a phantom and instantly appearing before the Iron Monger.

Obadiah's Iron Monger had an assisting system that aided in targeting enemies and weapons.

Yet, he couldn't anticipate Leon's movements because he was simply too fast, effortlessly surpassing the speed of light.

It takes eight minutes for light to travel from the sun to the Earth, but Leon doesn't require that long. It only takes an instant.

At the very least, Leon's speed can be considered as multiples of eight minutes, far surpassing the speed of light for that duration.

One minute consists of sixty seconds, and eight minutes equal four hundred and eighty seconds.

This can also be regarded as four hundred and eighty times the speed of light.

And that's just because the Earth is only eight minutes away from the sun, which is the extent of our knowledge so far. It could be even faster.

Not to mention that Obadiah couldn't keep up with Leon's speed. Even if there were exceptional individuals on Earth today, surpassing their abilities is far beyond their reach. Even the Ancient One couldn't compare in terms of speed, unless they were resorting to magical tricks.

Claiming to be the Sorcerer Supreme, right?

Back to the present.

Leon instantly appeared before the Iron Monger, this time showing no mercy. He raised his hand, gripping the head of the Iron Monger, and forcefully slammed it.

"Whoa."

The once sturdy steel barrier now felt as fragile as a sheet of paper as Leon forcefully removed the hood.

Obadiah, trapped inside, was exposed to Leon and stared at him dumbfounded, wearing an expression of bewilderment.

The Iron Monger was built under his own supervision, and he personally selected the materials used. Although it hadn't been fully tested, its armor performance had been rigorously assessed countless times.

Even the most advanced armor-piercing projectiles and anti-tank equipment available couldn't penetrate the Iron Monger's armor or leave a trace.

This thing is more terrifying than a tank. Yet, in Leon's hands, it proved as feeble as paper.

Is this guy too terrifying?

Obadiah stood there, stunned and overwhelmed.

Leon smiled at Obadiah, moving deliberately instead of swiftly. He slowly raised his pair of steel arms and then lifted one foot against the Iron Monger's breastplate.

Just when Obadiah was perplexed, unsure of Leon's intentions...

Leon exerted force with both hands simultaneously, and two distinct 'clicks' were heard as he ripped off the Iron Monger's hands once again.

"No," Obadiah murmured sadly. He wasn't physically harmed, as his cockpit was separate from his limbs, unlike Tony covered in his armor.

Obadiah felt heartache and despair. If Leon continued dismantling the Iron Monger, reducing it to a pile of scrap metal, he would be rendered helpless.

Forget about threatening Tony at that point; he might even end up being sent to prison by Tony without delay.

However, Leon remained unfazed. He reached out, pushing the Iron Monger down, and with a swift movement, he grabbed hold of the Iron Monger's feet.

In the blink of an eye, the once mighty Iron Monger was torn apart by Leon, leaving behind a massive pile of iron debris. Obadiah still sat within the cockpit.

Leon clapped his hands, revealing that he never took the Iron Monger and Obadiah seriously from the start. The reason he was able to deceive Obadiah initially was solely because he genuinely possessed superior technology.

What if he had developed the Iron Monger for him? In front of Leon, it would be nothing more than a malleable pile of scrap metal.

Tony returned, standing beside the hole in the wall, his face showing a complex mix of emotions within the armor.

Since Leon could dismantle the Iron Monger, he could dismantle his armor as well. There was no doubt about it.

Moreover, this was originally Tony's performance stage and home, but now...

And Obadiah, being his father's friend and also his mentor and friend, had led to the situation reaching this point, leaving Tony feeling a deep sense of regret.

"Leave him to me," Tony finally spoke, feeling a sense of pity.

However, Leon smiled and pointed his finger towards the iron debris of the Iron Monger. There, an Arc reactor was visible, albeit an inferior version.

"Remember why I intentionally asked you to create an inferior version?" Tony's expression instantly changed.
