Chapter 73 "The Power of a God"

The Earth military has frequently attempted to employ conventional missiles against the Chitauri soldiers to bombard the Chitauri mothership since the alien mothership first arrived. That man delivered one punch that shattered the alien mothership, which was immune to conventional weapons.

United Nations representatives from various nations started to become anxious.

"Should you explain to us what's happening with that man, Sitwell?" A United Nations agent with gray hair enquired.

Sitwell was observed by a number of other people. These council members were a little astonished to see Thor and Jane Foster appear. They were aware of it when Thor arrived at Loki, and following a number of evaluations, they concluded that it posed a little greater threat than the Hulk.

Combat effectiveness is not the only factor used to determine the threat level.

The Hulk, on the other hand, is simple to lose his mind and destroy everything, but his Banner mentality is quite stable and controllable, considering the character's force value, thinking logic, etc.

Although it is still unclear whether Thor truly hails from the legendary nation of Asgard, based on the material that is currently available, Thor does not appear to be hostile to the earth.

Thor helped the earthen army fend off the Chitauri even after they invaded the planet with their army.

Rorschach, on the other hand, seemed to materialize overnight. Prior to it, the United Nations had zero knowledge of Rorschach. The United Nations representatives experienced an innate fear of the unknown, especially after Rorschach displayed such a potent potency.

It's similar to how in the DC Universe, even though Superman was rescuing the world everywhere, Batman was still concerned that Superman would lose control before he discovered that Superman's mother was also named Martha. Because Superman's power is excessively strong.

Mortals have no power over that.

The representatives were genuinely terrified by Rorschach's performance in comparison to the Hulk or the two Thors.

With the ability to instantly wipe out the Chitauri army in the skies and destroy the Chitauri mothership's energy shield with a single blow, Rorschach is able to storm any well-guarded structure and execute whatever targets he chooses.

Can he really be threatened, even if nuclear bombs are used?

In response to the representative's questions, Sitwell unhurriedly divulged Rorschach's identity, as Rorschach had already previously commanded. Rorschach hasn't intentionally disguised himself; everything is just how he wants it. However, he won't remain in the shadows forever, especially after receiving the full Kryptonian blood.

"That's Rorschach, the scientist who helped the Osborn Group develop pharmaceuticals for physical enhancement drugs, the Terminator robot project, controllable nuclear fusion, and the Rorschach who discovered the new element."

The council members started looking into Rorschach's identity before Sitwell had finished introducing him.

"The information that is available cannot explain why he is so powerful!" Another North American representative questioned aloud.

Sitwell smiled, "We are all aware that knowledge is power. The Destroyer Armor from Asgard mythology is the same as the one Mr. Rorschach is wearing. The All-Father, Odin, created it. Rorschach may exhibit such immense power because it is powered by controlled nuclear fusion."

In essence, Sitwell is saying that Rorschach's armor is what gives him all of his talents, and that Rorschach is just an ordinary mortal who is no longer able to be ordinary.

All of the representatives suddenly realized what they had just said. This rhetoric is undoubtedly in line with what the UN delegates are hoping for. In that narrative, it turned out to be a weapon from Asgard.

"Can his armor be mass-produced like the Terminator robot?" the representatives in North America inquired with a rolled-eyes expression.

Sitwell just stared at him.

Mass produced? Are you out of your mind?

"Impossible. The All-Father Odin created the Destroyer Armor. It is impossible to produce in large quantities since it involves an excessive number of magical technologies that humans are unable to comprehend." stated Sitwell.

The representative persisted anyway, "This armor is overly potent. We cannot ensure that its users won't endanger the security of the planet. Perhaps we'll decide who owns that armor!"

"That potent armor must, at the very least, be under our control." Another representative talked.

Sitwell took a quick look at these individuals and noticed that they were both white and black. The high-ranking officials of these clearly reflected the avaricious core of capitalism at this time.

"He can hear..." Sitwell murmured to himself in a low voice.

"Sitwell, what are you talking about? What were you just mention about?" The representative admonished with some irritation after failing to hear what Sitwell had just stated.

Sitwell regarded the representative with compassion in his eyes, as though he were viewing a sinner who had been given the death penalty.

He was implying that the person he had just mentioned was a god. If you desire God's power, you are already dead.

Sitwell was aware that the armor had nothing to do with Rorschach's power. In addition to attempting to explain the source of his power and test if anyone would be tempted to seek his power—the power of that suit of armor—Rorschach requested him to speak in this manner.

As is to be expected, once one exhibits a weakness, mortals will not fear it. Mortals will have a greedy heart and crave the power of the gods if they are not terrified by the gods.

West Coast, on the battlefield.

Rorschach blasted through the Chitauri mothership's energy barrier and dashed into the space carrier. In front of Rorschach, the mothership's invincible metal exterior is as brittle as a thin film and is easily pierceable.

He entered the mothership's interior. Low-level Chitauri warriors charged at him in great numbers. Two scorching rays of light pierced the nothingness as Rorschach continued to march forward, his eyes red. The world then fell silent once more.

Rorschach casually killed the low-ranking Chitauri warriors, carried on flying, and sped right for the mothership's main lobby. When they saw Rorschach on the mothership lobby, the Chitauri commanders raised their hands and submitted.

Rorschach, on the other hand, showed no mercy as his red eyes raced through the area once more, accurately eliminating every Chitauri in the lobby.

Rorschach arrived aboard the mothership of the Chitauri after finishing all of this. He reached into his arms and pulled out a metal data disk, pressing it against the Chitauri mothership's control panel.

The metal data disk extended numerous silver metal tentacles after making contact with the Chitauri mothership's control platform, and they forcibly bonded with it.

Rorschach looked at the platform, and ordered, "Riverie, take control of this space carrier."
