one of the best fanfiction on this site. everything is well taken care of and the world building of the pokemon world has been enhanced. it's not just about levels but about grades and potential. the MC is still young and hasn't started his official journey but he still goes out to find and train high potential pokemon. in my opinion they should start a breeding farm of only high potential pokemon.
The idea is great, and the world background is very well thought out. But the way this story is written is just soo boring! The story starts out with 20,000+ words of pure info-dumps. I felt as if I was reading a school textbook rather than a story for entertainment. 90% of the information dumped is either entirely irrelevant, or will only become relevant later on in the story, which means it didn't need to be dumped all at once like it was. Idk, maybe some readers will like that, but personally I read fiction to get a break from tedious brain-cramming like this
Okay, folks, In one word it's worth it. It is extremely slow paced - True, but it's worth it, infact it is very much necessary for the kind of world building author had done. This is hands down the best Pokemon novel for me, even better than Master of tactics and other legendary works out there. So do give it a try... read 4-5 chapters and decide for yourself.
it's good and just like the author says it's very slow paced to the point that I'm contemplating whether I should continue or not because I know interesting stuff is going to happen but I'm blue balling myself because I want to know what happens in the story. I wish there was like one section that was like ten chapter to just explain his childhood up in a short yet understandable way until he starts his journey like short chapter explaining the materials he got the pokemon he growth his Pokemon's growth his friends ect you get the point either than that a banger I just got to power through until he gets older
I love the world you created, the only problem I see is that Mc is going to have too many masteries, and thus he does not improve as much as he should have improved in the ones he is more talented in, the use of weapons I see enough swords and needles, the sword whip is too much, he hardly has time for everything anymore and he wants more, what I do think would serve him better is mounted combat, so he can fight while he's in Arcanine or Pidgeot.
The author is going for a really well fleshed out story, the future of this novel seems bright. The only downside is that it’s extremely slow to the point that he is only 4 years old by chapter ch65. Author often goes day by day and only sometimes skips a few weeks (a year in that world is 3 times as long as well). This results in it becoming an absolute chore to read through the work. Author is too obsessed with making a good background that he totally messed up the flow of the story making it sometimes extremely boring. Which is sad since the stuff he already introduced seems like it would have been extremely fun to read when the mc develops.
