Chapter 3

As they arrived at the garden, they sat down on the ground next to the flowers.

"Shouldn't there be guards here?"

Dylan asked, confused.

"There should, but there isn't since this place isn't allowed for anyone, not even the royal family."

Dylan got even more confused.

"Really, why?"

Melony just sighed.

"I don't even know to be honest. It's always just been here! I've never bothered asking about it. "

After Melony said that, Dylan started laughing. Melony blushed, and for some reason she got annoyed by him laughing.

"H-hey! What's so funny!"

Dylan just kept laughing, Melony didn't understand what it was he was laughing at. Was it something she said?

"Sorry, sorry, I just thought that the royal family could do anything! Knowing that there is something that you all can't do is quite shocking and funny!"

Melony realised what he meant, and to be honest he did have a point! Melony started laughing after realising.

"Heh, yeah.. But even though we're royal doesn't mean we don't have rules. If we didn't have rules then all the kingdoms would go crazy!"

"That is true, and wouldn't that mean anyone could become royalty if they wanted to?"

Dylan asked.

Melony giggled.

"Yup!"

Melony picked up a flower, and looked at it with fascination in her eyes.

"The reason I like this part of the garden is because it grows this kind of flower! A onyx odyssey helleborus!"

Dylan looked at the flower. Then he looked back at Melony.

"It's beautiful.. Like you.."
