A party in her honor

When Rose told Luna that she threw a party in her honor to welcome her to the city, she only thought of a small party because an event like this didn't happen before.

' I was too busy the other times to fight for my life, I ignored them all the times because they were irrelevant to the story, however, all I want now is to explore things that I haven't explored in the past times, maybe I would be lucky enough to find a way out or at least have some fun doing that .

When they were in the car she saw Rose holding Joseph's hand who was sitting next to her while she was sitting in the middle of the back seat as she was driving, and Luna smiled because she knew that Rose don't like being distracted during driving, she knew how much focus Rose needed to drive and to do such a thing proved only that she was desperate to show off in front of her .

" I just want a slice of pizza and a cup of cola, nothing more, " Luna said trying to make Rose feel at ease .

" I think we didn't bring you that, hmmm, what should we do, Rose ? She only wants pizza and cola"

Rose smiled then continued to focus on the road while saying:" Don't worry , I know that she is a weird little baby and that's why I took my precautions, I brought pizza and cola because I knew that she would ask for it "

Joseph started to laugh then kissed her cheek which made her move the car uncontrollably for a second and lose focus, she was was so upset by his move, so he touched the wheel fast to fix what he has done .

" You still have your charm on her, you almost killed us, Joseph ! " Luna said sarcastically because she was so sick of the atmosphere around them today .

She didn't know if they were okay with each other or if they had an argument, so she kept silent for the rest of the ride .

There was a huge difference between Rose's apartment and Luna's, she was the daughter of one of the most powerful companies in the country and therefore she grew rich since she was a kid, if it was not for her father's work they wouldn't have met ever.

Due to their move to the countryside village when she was little and her attachment to Isa, her father left her with her mother to pursue her education there while he returned to the city years after that.

When luna arrived at the building where that Rose lived in it she knew that something was wrong because she saw the smiles of anticipation on both of her friends' faces.

' I think they are going to do something , god ! they never change …always acting just like kids '

She tried to get along with them all the way to the floor where Rose lived, she lived in a skyscraper on 102 floors, her apartment was very spacious with 5 bedrooms, a modern equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and huge living room, and the view was very breathtaking because she lived next to the river and a huge park in the city .

' I don't think that I was going to be in this bad situation if I was reincarnated into an apartment like this one; I would never go outside, I will work online, buy what I need from the internet, and live happily ever after in this small heaven, but no ….I have to meet the villain and kill myself each time I fail like a lunatic while looking at him in my last moments '

" Surprise, " A lot of people said the moment Rose opened the door .

' What the …! ' Luna thought.

" Did you think that I would celebrate you being in the city with pizza you stupid girl! Of course not " Rose said while laughing at her, while she dragged her from her arm to enter the house .

' I thought that someone just died in college and these people are already celebrating'

Luna didn't recognize anyone from them ,but she knew that they must be Rose's friends from college.

Luna followed Rose inside while Rose started to introduce her to her friends.

' Yup, certainly from college, these stupid people are just too messed up, to throw a part at a time like this , and here I was thinking that I would eat pizza peacefully then crawl to her sofa and sleep for the rest of the night .

Luna started smiling at all the people who were there, they were already drunk, and in fact, she knew that they wouldn't be here if not for the free alcohol and food that rose bought for them .

' Sh****t, now I have to smile at all of them as if we know each other from years ago, stupid Rose, I think I am going to die after this party, these kind of events exhausts me '

Luna set on the sofa with a glass of beer in her hand and started to drink while looking at everyone there, most of them were either playing or already kissing their partners or in the middle of a flirting but she kept drinking in silence .

' This is the normal case, this is how I should act, they are normal and I am not , look they are smiling and having fun, no one is harmed by this, they are all safe '

Deep down she was envying them for the courage they had to share their inner thoughts with their friends and partners, and that killed her somehow .

Luna rested her head after she finished the first glass, she didn't even eat the pizza that she asked for it, she fought for her eyes to stay open, however, when the loud music started she fell asleep right there.

" You are so careless! How come you are this innocent? I would kill you here and no one would know who did it, but let's leave it to another day "
