269. One Less Finger

It was a normal day for the people living in the so-called holy land. All the Celestial dragons lived in the Pangaea castle. All the servants, cooks, and others lived in a town away from the castle.

A lot more commoners lived there than the nobles. The commoners living there considered themselves lucky to even have the opportunity to be there but they often find themselves at the mercy of the Celestial Dragons. They all knew that they were unofficial slaves. Their lives had no meaning but to serve all demands or die.

*BOOM*

Suddenly a sonic boom was heard in the sky. People saw someone in a golden cloak slowly descending in front of the gate leading to the castle.

The guards in shining useless armor there got alerted and decided to fight him. But a single slap from Alexander threw them away into the jungle.

Everyone knew that these guards were made to keep the commoners away and not people of Alexander's caliber. Hence came the CP0. People responsible for protecting the Celestial Dragons.

Alexander didn't hold back against them. They all deserved to die. One by one he purified them all. CP0 was eradicated in a matter of minutes.

"STOP IT!" A loud shout came from behind the huge gates, then suddenly Kong came out of them. He had used his Conquerors Haki but it did not affect Alexander.

"So you came out. I knew you would come to protect your masters." Alexander angrily said.

Kong didn't waste a second and in a blink, he appeared in front of Alexander to punch him. "Stop this and go away."

Alexander ignored him and fought him for a while, Kong was really very strong and all that without a devil fruit.

"Dammit, Universe. Understand my words, go away, please" Kong sounded much different now. It didn't feel like he was saying that in anger.

Alexander was surprised with that 'please' at the end, "They enslaved a 6-year-old girl, Kong. This time one of the elders dies and I won't stop until then."

Alexander punched Kong down very hard, they both collided with the huge doors of Pangaea castle and passed through. Kong may be extremely strong, maybe even stronger than Garp, but he was no match for him.

Alexander was about to throw his last punch to make him fall unconscious but he stopped midway as he didn't see hatred, anger, or anything extreme like that in Kong's eyes.

Instead, there was fear, helplessness, and loss. Alexander grabbed his collar, "What the hell is your problem? Tell me the truth."

Alexander forced him to speak up with Legilimency. Kong was strong and could have fought off an amateur Legilimens but not him.

Kong started to stutter, "Goddammit, Universe. My whole life has become hell because of you. I should have never become a Fleet Admiral..."

"Get to the point, what are you talking about?" Alexander yanked him.

"T-They have my family as hostages. They've been hostages for the last 13 years. My wife, my daughter... Now they will kill her." Kong looked horrified.

Alexander released his collar and Kong fell down on the ground. He didn't even get up to fight now.

"If I save your family, then will you resign?" Alexander asked.

"I never joined the Marines to become their lapdog. I did it for bringing good but I was too naive. Of course, I'd resign if I could save my family and get away."

Two new people popped there out of nowhere. The two looked malnourished.

"Liza? Hana?" Kong ran to them in disbelief. The two women were in the same weak condition.

By then Alexander had taken out his anywhere door, "Kong, take your family and pass through the door. You will reach my kingdom. Find a doctor there and my second in command, they will help your wife and daughter get better."

Kong picked up his wife and daughter and left through the door with a gratitude-filled node. Then Alexander was about to leave to find the elders but he heard something.

"Please save us"

Alexander heard this noise coming from the ground below. He looked down and took off the whole surface. Under it, he found many slaves tied to a gear mechanism that moves the whole stretch of the road like a moving walkway.

He quickly took care of all the guards beating them with whips and looked at them, "You all are free now. Stay here until I come back. I will take you all with me. Till then, eat this."

He threw lots of energy bars for them and went into the castle. Once there he saw the five Elders already waiting for him in the giant hall.

"We finally met face to face. Why have you created so much destruction?" The Elder with Katana asked. His sword was unsheathed at that moment.

"Hahaha... It is not I who has created destruction, it is you. What kind of sick amusement do you all get by enslaving and torturing people? Children included." The more Alexander spoke the more angry he started to get. Koala's face was constantly reappearing in his mind.

"You made her feel hopeless and scared. I will make you beg for death." After his declaration, he dashed at the five of them. Alexander jumped and first struck the one with a sword. The sword instantly got sliced in two. But the punch from Alexander was so strong that he also received an injury to his chest.

"Stay down if you don't wanna die instantly." He shouted.

Then he clashed with the blonde one. The man used his legs to attack Alexander. Alexander had to agree that these men were the strongest people he had met on the planet and he still didn't know if they had devil fruit abilities. Soon he broke the legs of the guy. "You all are thousands of years too early to fight me."

Then Alexander looked at the shortest one. He had a staff in his hands.

But the man didn't come to attack Alexander. He looked at all the other Elders and nodded. "Let's do it."

All the two injured elders got up somehow and their bodies started to shine in golden light and once their body became fully golden they all flew to each other and the light started to dissolve into each other.

Soon, just a golden humanoid body stood in front of him. It started to say something with its echoing and muffled voice, "You made a big mistake by coming here, Universe. We were already the strongest individually, now all five of our powers have combined. This is the greatest devil fruit in existence, that comes in parts of five"

"So this is how you guys have been able to rule till this long. But sad for you, I am stronger than you can even imagine." Alexander started to hover and quickly flew towards them with supersonic speed. They did the same.

Soon their fists collided, creating an energy wave so powerful that nearby walls of the castle fell down, many normal Celestial Dragons died just from being stuck under the rubble. But alexander was unscathed and on the other hand, the golden entity's hand had been broken.

"See, that is what truly being strong means. This is not a power from a Devil fruit but my sheer physical strength. And sorry to tell you this, that was not even my strongest punch."

He again flew towards them, this time even faster than before and his fist also turned black with Armament Haki. The Elders felt their lives threatened from the punch so before the punch connected them they quickly stopped whatever power they were using and separated from each other.

"Im-Sama will not forgive you for this, Universe." The fat bald one shouted. He sidestepped from the coming punch but Alexander also changed his direction towards him.

"Oh, so there is someone above you. Can't say I'm surprised. You 5 are too dumb to even have one percent of the genius it takes to create a complex government like this. But now, one of you must die. You asked the question so it'll be you." He also checked his sins at the same time.

Alexander punched him in the chest. His hand went straight through the man's chest and came out from his back. Alexander had the elder's heart in his palm.

*CRUSH*

He squeezed it and it burst like a balloon. With it, the elder also died. He just burned his body as soon as he died. He didn't want a Zombie Celestial Dragon in the future.

"Listen, you four. Release all the slaves in the whole world. If I catch any cruelties happening because of you. 4 of you will become 3. From now on, everything bad you do will have a price you will have to pay. Now go away."

Alexander's method created true dread in their hearts so the moment Alexander left the four ran to Im-sama who was sitting on the empty throne.

"Im-sama... Bad news. We were attacked. 1 elder is dead, another one is badly injured and we lost the fleet Admiral." The three said and kneeled in front of the not so empty throne at a very high place.

Alexander helped the people he freed to reach the Goa Kingdom and appeared back on the ship. He had decided to accompany Little Koala and try to make her forget and move on from her sad past.

"Hey, Koala, catch." He threw an inflatable ball at her and she loved it.

Alexander wanted to give her everything that she was deprived of. Koala also started acting like a child slowly, showing her smile and emotions whenever she could.

"You are a good man," a voice came from behind him.

Alexander looked back and it was the second-in-command of the Sun Pirates, Jinbe.

"I only care about making people happy and living a better life. If that makes me a good man then that's good." Alexander shrugged.

Alexander organized feasts on the ship every day to make her happy. The crew of the Sun Pirates was also comfortable around him as he was probably the only human they respected. All except a few like the Shark Fishman, Arlong.

"Koala-chan, come here. I will give you a good haircut." Alexander prepared a small chair for her.

Her hair had become very messy, she probably never got to comb them in so many years. So after a nice haircut and removing the hardened hair, she looked like what she was supposed to. A cute little child.

"Look, everyone, our little Koala is such a pretty lady," he proudly shouted. Robin laughed seeing Koala blushing in embarrassment.

In a matter of a few months, they reached the Foolshout island, the hometown of Koala.

Alexander and Fisher Tiger went ahead and brought her to her family. She walked in between them and held Alexander's and Tiger's hands.

"Grandpa, uncle Tiger, what do you think mother will do? Would she remember me?" She nervously asked.

"Of course she will, Koala. And if she doesn't then I will take you with me to where I live. A talking fat cat, a talking bird, and many more fun people live there." His words really made her feel like she wanted to go with him.

Soon they came to the town, lots of people were waiting for them there. In the front was a woman. Koala instantly recognized her mother and ran to her with teary eyes.

They hugged each other and Koala finally felt the warmth of her mother after so many years. She then looked back.

"Grandpa, Uncle Tiger, thank you." She shouted while crying. She understood now that the world was not all bad, there were good people too.
