CHAPTER 13

Zoro only realized that he had activated the card Alex had given him when it was too late. Receiving Zoro's murderous look, Alex only smiled with some sarcasm.

Come on, don't get bad blood, it's really for your own good. (Alex)

Seeing that he could no longer do anything, Zoro calmed down and tried to use the new technique and surprisingly was able to materialize an invisible arm. Even Zoro himself couldn't see it, but somehow he could feel it and control it at will.

He quickly used it to unsheathe one of his swords and began to wave it as if it were normal. Even Alex was surprised at how fluidly he could wield it and internally thought, "Maybe it won't take much training."

Having taught the theory to the monstrous trio of the crew, Alex let them practice on their own while looking at Usopp and Nami, who were afraid to see Alex watching them.

To Alex, these two were a superior challenge than the others because while he knew their strengths, he didn't know how to enhance them. Alex thought seriously about what he could do and only came up with the idea of improving their weapons.

Technically in the original work that was what they did, so Alex decided to follow the same course, but making some variations. Nami is an expert meteorologist and even though Alex didn't have any weapons or skills of that kind, with Tony Stark's lab it wouldn't be hard to create something that would help her.

As he was thinking about that, he remembered that Usopp had received the reward of the blueprints for a weapon and quickly asked him, what kind of weapon it was. Alex remembered that it was a special weapon, but not what kind.

Usopp was reluctant, but he knew that if Alex wanted to steal the blueprint he could easily do so, so he showed it to him. The weapon described on the blueprint was surprisingly a hand grenade.

Alex was surprised that this weapon was considered special, but after some thought he accepted the idea because the power of a grenade should not be underestimated.

Although in the world of One Piece, there are many powerful weapons, Alex didn't remember seeing a hand grenade as such, plus he thought it was a perfect weapon for a guy like Usopp.

Have you tried to create it? (Alex)

Usopp nodded in agreement as he reached into his bag and pulled out a fist-sized device. It really looked like a grenade, but somewhat rudimentary, Alex believed it was quite unstable and dangerous, but he was still surprised that Usopp created it in such a short time.

Usopp along with Franky were always the inventors of the crew, as it must be remembered that it was Usopp who made Nami's weapons in the original work and also made several weapons for himself.

Alex wanted to test the power of the grenade made by Usopp so he took it and removing the safety catch threw it into the distant sea. A few seconds after falling a column of water rose up where the grenade had landed.

Everyone was surprised to see the power of the grenade, but Alex was calm. Certainly, the power was there, but there were two problems with the design that the straw hat sniper had made.

The first was that the time from activation to explosion was too long, any enemy could dodge it. The second was the reason for the first problem and that was that the components were not well assembled and that was why the grenade took so long to explode.

Hey, what was that? (Sanji)

The weapon Usopp received as a reward. (Nami)

Did he receive something that powerful? It's like a cannon. (Sanji)

He still needs to refine a few things. (Alex)

Everyone was stunned by Alex's comment because for them this weapon had great power. Alex did not pay attention to them and began to discuss with Usopp the improvement of the grenade.

Usopp was excited because after listening to Alex, he clearly understood some things he had not deciphered from the blueprint and quickly created a new grenade.

Everyone had stopped their training and watched with curiosity, as Alex and Usopp created the new grenade. When they finished, Luffy impatiently grabbed it and was going to throw it into the sea to test it, but Alex moved at high speed and hit him in the head.

Idiot, if you don't remove the safety catch and just throw it, it won't explode. (Alex)

Alex took the grenade from Luffy who was in pain from the hit and removed the pin. He threw the grenade into the distance and this time in contact with the water it exploded with more power than last time. 

What the heck? It's more powerful now. (Sanji)

Well, I think that will do it. You know how to make them Usopp, I think it will be a good weapon, just try to keep them in a dry place where it doesn't move too much or get too hot or they might explode. (Alex)

After that demonstration, Nami coquettishly approached Alex, pudding him a powerful weapon like Usopp's. Alex could only laugh at Nami's attempt to seduce him.

Make no mistake, Nami is very beautiful and sensual, but not enough to coax Alex. Although he didn't fall for Nami's seduction, he did promise her that he would give her something special, but she had to wait until the next day.

With that settled, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji continued their training, while Usopp continued to make more grenades. Nami, having nothing to do, focused on navigating the ship.

Alex just watched them. After two hours, Alex was surprised that Luffy had already grasped the essence of Second Gear, but he still couldn't keep it up for long.

Zoro was already wielding his three swords as if he'd had the invisible arm Alex had just given him was with him all his life and Sanji had also started to develop his Diable Jambe. 

Alex could only be amazed at how quickly they learned and could only be envious of their battle sense to adapt so quickly. Alex was much stronger than them, but in combat intelligence, he was definitely inferior.

He had gotten his strength from the system and 10 years of training, so he couldn't help but admire these three. As the sun was setting, they all went inside for dinner and there Alex was able to taste Sanji's wonderful and exquisite food.

He had never eaten such a delicious meal and could only praise the cook. Night came and all the straw hats went to sleep, except for Zoro who was still practicing.

Alex was surprised at how confident they were to go to sleep unconcerned that he who was an enemy just a few hours ago was on the ship.

Shaking his head and with an expression of disbelief, Alex could only scold them in his mind. He took the moment to enter the portable lab and began to design Nami and Usopp's weapons.
