why would anyone drop a novel if the author adds a harem or not. its not like a person should read a fantasy book based on the number of love interests the MC has if that's what you base a book on then go read a romance book this book is a fantasy for a reason.. as for my self I am harem for sure and hope the Author adds it because I know for sure based on his writing so far he will do it extremely well and that it wont be a flop. but even if he keeps its to a one girl romance I wont drop the novel cuz its such a great story only a idiot would do that.
I am confused here, the system doesn't give him XP after killing beast/people , it doesn't have storage , no stores , no comprehension abilities , no rewards but instead requires the MC to train like everyone else in the novel including breakthroughs. So what's its use other than granting many divine paths. I am at ch 85 by the way
I have read this book all the way till the last chapter, hey listen the book is cool, the plot, setting and MC are on point. In all it is an amazing novel. The author took time to create a novel that is breathtaking, for real I give him that. His work is on point. The only thing I’m not cool with is the fact that his nerfing the MC on purpose. The MC have so much good thing but can’ t over power simple enemies (after the in game section). I don’t want to be a spoiler so I will not talk about the good things the MC have. Also he was able to out smart many people in the in game volume but after that the MC is no longer able to think out side of the box like if his confused or loss.
Story ,world building character progression is very good but what it lacks is MC showing all others his true might .Its okay for MC during the initial phase but the story becomes lackluster as he continues to hide his power even though he doesn't need to anymore . My suggestion for you is please don't make the mistake where MC can show of his true might at the very end of the novel as it ruins the entire story because I have read many novels where author continue this kind of trend till the end and thereby making it lackluster and boring. Please 🥺🙏 allow the MC to show off everyone how strong he is please make don't make him remain low-key till the very end. A MC that no longer needs to hold himself is way more fun than the one who keeps hiding . Let the MC show off his true might and please please don't make it so that he show of his true power at the very end of this novel .
So I will give this a 4 star instead of lower due to the fact that I can see that this novel may really be someone elses cup of tea and I don't want to trash the ratings at all. But for me personally, I thought the first arc was pretty frustrating to read but I liked the world/leveling and the characters even though the author just made the MC's life frustrating and depressing to read every few chapters. Then the arc 2 came and it went from a 2/3ish to a solid 5 in my opinion. The second arc was really good, great character development, good budding romance, strong level ups and good fights. Then came arc 3 and in my opinion it started to go downhill. The MC's power levels slowed tremendously, the MCs first real arch nemises kept getting stronger for no apparent reason and even multiple chapters were dedicated to him even though in the grand scheme of this "World Backround" he should be little more than an ant compared to what the MC's true future enemies should be. It started to become more like a soap opera than a good novel to me. But I know there's a lot of people who love over the top drama and crazy situations, so that's why I still rated this as a 4 because I do think this author writes quite well, just some of his ideas don't seem fleshed out and he has to develop a lot of weird plot armor to fix the issues. If he can come back in the next arc and have it as good as the 2nd, I think this book can end on a very promising note.
This novel is really underrated. It's been a while since I've read a novel that has cool world building, characters that make sense and gives you interesting backstory on all of it while not having it feel like info dumps. MC will annoy you in the beginning for sure, but it's not terrible, and later on gets explained (you'll probably like him by 60-80 chapters in). It also solves what a lot of 'System' type novels struggle with imo, which is the system itself. A lot of writers will introduce a cool system only to barley touch on it later on in the story because it becomes too OP or too convoluted to explain. This novel solves that by introducing a system that is actually really basic and easy to follow, this allows it to always be present. Even the romance(usually the weakness in these novels) similar to most of the relationships in the novel, is really well built for the most part and grows on you. ****Spoiler***** Personally I didn't love Sarah's introduction, I thought she comes off as unlikable early on. Fortunately MC isn't unconditionally nice to her so when he does have a turn around on her it's more believable that they developed feeling for each other. Still better than 95% of novels that have the cold beauty who's rude to the protagonist in the beginning and then falls in love with him.
Sorry for my English it is not my native language. But what I wanted to say is that this work is frankly successful, in general after 200 chapters the novels no longer have any meaning, but this novel takes its time, I am at chapter 350 and the plot holds the road, some secondary characters like Maya and Kyle are unfortunately not exploited enough for very close friends in my opinion. The action scenes are well described, sometimes the events can be predicted and sometimes they are not. Overall I recommend reading the book, because objectively it is successful. But...i have a hard time with one thing, polygamy, i have a hard time with that genre because it totally devalues female characters in novels, i find that polygamy will always limit the potential of female characters, because the one should not be too much above another in the heart of the MC, if one is above in the heart of the MC, it will just reduce the MC to the guy who is not satisfied with only one girl but has need a 2nd for his personal desires. The harem should only be used if you don't want a female character to develop as much as the MC. A harem like in SAO where just Kirito likes Asuna and stays friends with the rest of his harem is perfect, it allows Asuna to develop to the point where people prefer Kirito. To come back to Varian and Sia, the plot begins thanks to them, and FOR Sia, it would be a real shame if in the end she ended up on the same level as Sarah (whom I appreciate), when we understand that Varian likes Sia for years. Where I am he has known Sarah for 2 months but says "A world without Sarah would be empty", this sentence has in my opinion the potential to destroy the initial romantic plot which was mysterious and dedicated. In my opinion the best plot would be to persist on the plot of the hybrid by giving potential to Sia just below Varian and to see them grow up to 2 in the universe, like their childhood dreams and to make Sarah a "sister" to Varian using romantic drama, Varian who rejects Sarah upon realizing that it is Sia he loves. I don't know where the current story is but why not Evander who adopts Varian? To strengthen this bond which is not love but which is more than friendship. Conclusion, I wrote a lot I'm sorry, I offer ideas like that but you are the only feather in your story. I would like to know if the story is more about polygamy than monogamy. And I want to thank you dear author for your work!
