The most thought provoking chapter yet ,even though Clark Kent and Lex Luthor tag team bought up some controversial talking interesting points that were overlooked because of plot armor in the town of Smallville to budding journalist Chole Sullivan that could be hazardous to her health as the military wouldn't hesitate to wespinize the meta human population in Smallville town . Clark Kent family dinner went a surprising well with Lex and Lana lang guests appearance, but Clark Kent surprising everyone with his supposed new human bleeding by the Kent's family at the dinner , which he explained to his parents about the bootleg gold kryptonite ring ( really should have a jeweler make a refined version indeed of him doing it) as Clark Kent plays wide receiver in the football season at Smallville high school with Whitney , but it didn't stop his own Hot headed coach from potentially killing Chole Sullivan ( which Clark arrived just in time to rescue her from the flames. Looking forward to part 2 of Clark Kent vs dangerous hot-headed Coach in the next fiery confrontation between the young Superman Clark Kent and more Smallville town high shenigans at the meantime . Wow. I didn’t see that coming, regarding Clark dissuading Chloe from writing about the meteorites mutating people. It’s a though-provoking stance. If the authorities really took it seriously, the town could get condemned and everyone would lose their land and be forced to move. They might get settlement checks from the government, but they’d still be screwed. Many towns have been condemned in the past. I’m thinking specifically about ones where there are underground coal fires and the smoke starts coming up through the ground randomly and sinkholes start to develop. I wouldn’t be surprised if they take the same stance here. Clark is considering buying more land to get a chance to search for more land for kryptonite. But what I would do is super speed all over the entire county until I ran into surface kryptonite. Being in the presence of the kryptonite should cause you to immediately drop out of super speed. Then, pick it up and put it in a lead box. Lather, rinse, repeat. Store all the kryptonite in a cave somewhere or bury it 50 feet deep in a hole in the woods. After that, I’d use my x-ray vision to comb every inch of the ground and water over the entire county and look for kryptonite that is deeper than the surface or underwater. You could even mark all the spots on a map and just have Jonathan bring a truck to help you load it up and take it away.
I think the dialogues and internal narrations are being exaggeratedly detailed between them , the conversations are being detailed as if they were blatantly explaining everything to the reader , but normal people don't talk like that . But other than that , this story is very well written ! One more thing : "Clak" is in the name of the story instead of Clark .
