Mathematically you are correct and I like the story even if it is an AU but if divine dividing divides whole stats in half every 10 seconds than boosted gear which keeps up with divine dividing boosts the boosted stats by twice every second. I don't mind the au but if you tweaked boosted gear, tweak divine dividing as well because this boosted gear can never keep up with the orignal divine dividing and draig could never have been a rival of albion.
You know my friend ones told me when he was making a dxd gamer fanfiction he told me boosted gear is a nightmare to gamer fanfiction because multiple making stats broken made him drop it honestly just watching him writing it looked painful like I'm not kidding amount of time he had a headache isn't funny and hurt his health so Bronz_Deck be careful with it and go with whatever you want
Please don’t have him stay human and still fight in Rias peerage for the rating game. Rating games are for peerages. He needs to increase his lifespan anyway. It’s perfect he can just jump in and become a devil no special elixirs required plus it will keep MC positioned for following plot and no excuses needed to include a human in things. If Rias was allowed to hire people outside her peerage to fight rating games for her she would have just hired sairog or someone in cannon
Don’t know if I like the premis that Rias was desperate for peerage members at this point. Going by the LN even though the anime makes it look different she never really planned on recruiting Issie and she surely didn’t resurrect him to fight Riser because she had know idea he even possessed the boosted gear before the fact. She was summoned by one of her fliers when he was dying and didn’t even know who he was. Anime kind of makes it look like she purposely had her familiar give him the flier knowing he would be attacked. It was more just a happy accident on her part. She never really had to try for peerage members they just kind of fell into her lap. She wasn’t even aware about the potential to break her marriage contract with a rating game till after Grayfia brought it up later.
If does turn into a devil just don’t make him part of the peerage. He got alchemy and with a evil piece he could use it to make something else that turn him into a devil without any of the downsides. Also no way could either Sona or Rias reincarnation him now with the traditional use of the evil pieces he to strong.
