I really question your intelligence. Obviously braille can be read with your eyes, but it's designed to be read by blind people touching it. Not how it works. In what universe would he be slower if he can exert more force than the opponent? If sword techniques at a high level let him attack stronger than foundation establishment, then movement techniques would let him move faster than one. That's without mentioning that people attack faster than they can move towards someone, and the mc is extremely skilled with the sword. With sword force you can swing a sword at someone with the force of a crashing river, but with sword intent, you either conjure the river with your sword or can do it without a sword. Usually doing it without a sword requires understanding sword qi.
