It doesn't really matter my opinion when reading the story, my favorite family, favorite love interest or the protagonist's personality. In the end, you, the author, create the story, as long as it is well written, I will read it. I think writing what you decide rather than a public vote will make the quality of the story better.
author i think you should’ve just made an oc familia and went that route. i’m reading another danmachi fanfic by vulkizaro zoromi and the author made an oc male egyptian shota god the familia of mc and he gave a realistic back story that’s believable and characterization. i think maybe instead of using miach like every other danmachi fic a well written OC god would’ve been the better route. plus you could do more freely as a fanfic writer instead of having to re-use boring canon characters too much. Reading Vulks danmachi fanfic made me realize that OC gods and familias are much much better for a danmachi fanfic then using the canon ones.
