Yeah makes sense that right after making friends with his dead friends imitations he now went to the same house as all of them. After all what's nicer than to sleep next to the living breathing reminders of what he lost? Hes going to be like a dog running around Neville isn't he? While somehow canon happens to verbatim? Not only that if he actually starts following Neville around like some lost puppy every adult is going to start watching him. Perfect for someone who intends to commit genocide on the death eaters...
I honestly think that the hat would have 2 decisions based on what logic it uses to sort. If the sorting is based on charachteristics as you say it should be gryffindor as harry isn't plotting enough for slytherin here nor has he concentrated purely on studying magic since he woke so no ravenclaw either. Now the second method which is cannon to the books at least is the hat will put you where you will do best which I take to mean whichever house will help you the most. I think a war scarred harry would require the healing and support of hufflepuff if that is the case and would do best there. Slytherin and gryffindor might just make any stress issues worse for him though he'd likely get over such in the long run. Ravenclaw might end up with him ostracised or turning into a recluse so that wouldn't be good either.
I don't belive draco is a good slytherin he is only there because of his family. as he is not cunning or ambitious he flaunts his family's wealth and the one line he is known for. wait till my father hears about this. so he dosnt want to be a great wizard he isn't sly he is more of gryffindor he rushes in causes trouble. only reason he dosnt get into much trouble is because Snape not because he is cunning not to get caught. this I don't belive will be good story he will be running after the boy who lived so what is different about this book than Canon?
I'm not aware of these complaints but I support the Gryffindor choice (and my favorite house is Ravenclaw). Firstly, there have been too many stories with a Slytherin Harry so I find that refreshing. In addition, Harry no longer has the mentality of an abused child (who can sometimes develop traits close to those of Slytherins), and in the canon, his evolution over the years clearly shows that his personality tends more and more towards a Gryffindor mentality. To me, that makes sense.
