This faulty writing process erases the identity of the secondary character while out of nowhere giving him an artificial MC status, which ruins the balance of the story. Any character other than the MC must always be written in the third person singular to maintain a form of distance which preserves the hierarchy of characters. It's common sense. The author still has a long way to go as a writer... but also as a reader.
