I think the reveal was fine. It doesn't need to be dramatic all the time as that would in itself become dry. Plus I have always liked novels where the mc isn't the only one with a brain.

I do love reading a story where characters beside the MC are intelligent. Makes it fun to read when the enemy gets outplayed.

Mixed Nord and Altmer, direct descendants of the Aedra and Ehlnofey. That's actually fitting for the Dragonborn character.

Thanks, good chapter! I think the revelation was pretty fitting. Now for Minthara to realise over time how much her young prodigious teacher is helping her prepare to face her destiny and see her acting like a cat claiming their huma- erh, elf. Canonically Dragons are just larger, scaled cats after all.
