not trying to insult your work I just get frustrated when someone (or a fictional character) does something for someone else who isn't worth it. đ

Berengar is, in a way, very intelligent because he has the knowledge and the brainpower necessary to revolutionize the world's industry and manage a country adequately. Still, like all humans, he is susceptible to pride and arrogance, among other emotions, especially after going through his previous campaign with minimal losses. Berengar is not designed to be some superhuman incapable of making mistakes. His biggest weakness is his own human nature and letting those emotions cloud his judgment.

Well Mc looses a eye because of stupidity. But it is natural to get emotional and make mestakes. In the future he wont go in to sword fight and not use his weapons. He sould have blocked enemies with 1000 while everyone else fires from elevated place, while those on horse could kite them.
