i find this guy to be too calm about his own brother.

fratricide is a serious crime back then if he committed it or proven to be have committed it then he not only could lose his Noble title but its entire family can go downhill

Oh god I hope this author doesn't continue to uselessly extend this conflict with his brother for the sake of 'plot'. Its just annoying, he has tried to kill him 3 times and almost succeeded on the last...and its still not enough? He even has proof of him doing it once! I'll reserve full judgement of the novel but if it continues to be dragged on then I will just drop it there.

Overall I like the novel, but he really needs to do something about his brother. It makes no sense to have someone around his house who is constantly after his life. For example he could have relatively easily captured the enemy and get confession or he could intercept messages, or get his Linde to rat on his bother in some way.

so the MC is weak hearted and pretty stupid to allow multiple attempt of Assassination ..the plot getting absurd
