I read the raw (on mtlnation) and the nationalism is definitely present as it is through almost all Chinese future technology novels. Now it’s definitely bearable for someone used to these kinds of novels but if your fairly new it’s definitely an eyesore and be fully prepared to be enraged at the blind CCP meatriding that goes on in this novel

I think it's likely not a law in any directly definable way. It's likely a soft rule that one adheres to or the "algorithm or process" bumps your content out of circulation. Though I think there are likely laws that don't let people condemn their own nation. Though this is just speculation on my part as I've never lived there.
