For those curious, it hasn't been updated since 7-15 if I remember right, and was on chapter 63. Maybe on a break or dropped.

This was actually dropped about a year ago after over 1600 chapters. I don't know if it being picked up on here will restart it but I doubt it. Raw Daoist Master has the right raw name.

It's an OP fantasy with bad pacing. The MC gets everything he wants immediately with no struggle. Men wept that they weren't him, women were wet when he walked by. All that might work for some people that love OP stories, but then the pacing makes it worse as nothing really feels important. Hell, there are face slaps of people that weren't even mentioned until they were slapped. Btw, I think I feel for the translator. His ability is a heavy truck but all people who can transform seem to be called "Motorcycles". It likely was impossible for the translator to tell when the author meant actual motorcycles and when he meant "Motorcycles".

So, I read 119 chapters of this a while ago with google translate and it was fairly unique. He has the type of simulation where you can get things like 'gold' etc. type of ranked talents. The only problem with that is unlike similar novels all the talents are kind of warped. The world is also partly setup as an interstellar world with travel between same solar system planets, etc. despite being fantasy.

I read the first dozen chapters on Qidian and it's pretty dumb, a mix of power fantasy and face slapping. About the only plus is that, excluding the audience reactions, the story moves fairly fast so people liking fast action stories might like it.

Title: 百年修仙，我快死了金手指才来 Author: 极西行者 Status: 308 Chapters and Ongoing I read the first 25 chapters months back on Qidian and liked it but put it aside since I was mainly looking for Sci-fi. My note was that it was decent, similar to Farue's review, so I might get back it someday when in the mood to read more fantasy novels. Rated 4 stars since I've only vague memories that it was interesting.

美漫诸天万界, 某美漫的特工, 某美漫的王子 are the names of 3 other novels by 米一克. No clue if any of the novels have been translated, or what the English names would be, or if they are any good since I didn't read any of them.

Title: 灵气复苏：现实游戏化 Author: 米一克 Status: 154 Chapters, On Hiatus The author has finished several other books but a month ago wrote a note that their grandfather, who raised them, had passed away and since the funeral they were having trouble writing.

Title: 我的物品有升级面板 Author: 枸杞不好喝 Status: 331 Chapters, completed Another one I likely won't have a chance to read for weeks, but one thing to note is that there was a gap of a month between chapter 330 and the final chapter 331.

Title: 全球游戏进化 Author: 剑无云 Status: 541 Chapters, completed I haven't read this and might be weeks before I do, just put 4 stars as a placeholder.

Just type alchemist in the search bar, you'll see the word 'krypton' in the title too. Btw, the two novels are not exactly the same even in the first chapter I read on there. It's like someone is rewriting the others novel with name changes and other minor changes. No clue which is this copy is distorting the faloo novel, or the faloo novel is copying a Qidian novel.

Title: 末世：从加点开始无限进化 Author: 猪小小 Status: Ongoing with 429 chapters He's finished a 1700 chapter novel and some others from what I see, so at least likely to finish this one. I'll try it next week maybe.

I agree at least partly with the others pointing out the racism, though it really is more nationalism than racism (at least so far). My problem is that it feels almost like a speed run of a face slapping novel. The author doesn't pause to explain anything and just skims past important events to get back to half assed face slapping.

So, this is on Hiatus while the author finishes up his other newer novel that is also in this weeks picks, "What Is It Like to Have a Teacher Who Is a Sorcerer". He had originally abandoned it, but last month he posted an update that he will come back to it.

Also known as Myriads of Identities, written by the same author as Way of the Devil. I enjoyed reading both, but haven't read any of his other more recent books.

No one ever likes the exact same books as you, so reviews are worth only so much. I see the poison tester mentality on other sites and it usually ends with them reading almost nothing.
