The only light at the end of the tunnel was Nurse Joy, who was over the moon when she learned during smalltalk that his Duosion knew Heal Pulse thanks to a Blissey from clan Joy. And that wasn't all because Solosis had managed to learn Heal Pulse in a single lesson from the old Joy clan Blissey. Apparently, the Blissey was so pleased with Solosis aptitude and attitude that she taught Solosis in a similar fashion compared to a TM. strawberry does not grow on bushes, they grow on small plants more like tiny tomato plants.
When they reached Tohjo Falls, Pete's haul included a few more Orans and Leppas, and he even found a patch of Rawst berries, whose plants reminded him of strawberry bushes, barely reaching one's knees. They had orange leaves, however, while Rawst berries themselves were more or less light-blue strawberries. With a young fire pokemon on the team, accidents were bound to happen. So having a great treatment for burns available was a great find. - Gawd1dCommented

Well, when we were 3 years old, he also started to refer to me as a loser and dimwit, but that day, I beat him so hard that I accidentally broke his nose. Since then, he's never spoken to me that way, always speaking to me politely.

the grunts finally woke up from their dazed state and looked towards Rex in terror. before grunt 2 could even recall his Ekans, Machop had already appeared and smashed it on the head with his metal fist. Ekans was by now completely frozen and couldn't move in the slightest. The grunts were shaking in fear at the sheer power behind the machop in front of them. after all, they had seen Machops, but none of them were as fast or as powerful as this one. They were convinced it had something to do with the rare colour of this machop, after all, they had never seen a black machop before. - Gawd3dCommentedMeanwhile, Borr had managed to squeeze in three Calm Minds while he was attacking Torkoal and dodging its attacks. That was more than enough to turn his next move into a pretty strong one, so after dodging Torkoal's latest Flamethrower, Borr closed in a bit from Torkoal's backside and released a Stored Power straight at it. Thankfully, that proved to be enough to take Torkoal down, though Borr was visibly panting afterward.
- Gawd3dCommentedWhile I made the night snacks I had to make sure that they would not interfere with Munchlax's sleep (cycle), but the daytime snacks had no such limitation, which was why they were full of nutrition and energy boosters. This particular morning batch was made using Hyplan Berries, Chilan Berries, Chesto Berries, and Sitrus Berries as its main ingredients.

This dance ended up getting Freyja first place in the second round, and just as I expected, the judges did mention the resemblance to Hitmontop's fighting style, though they also mentioned that Freyja's dance was much more pleasing to watch, which frankly was entirely related to Freyja's looks. - Gawd3dCommented

A gym battle was more than anything a chance for my Pokemon to fight against the best of their stage, so I had no plans to win this by being sneaky. If I employed sneakiness, it would be the kind that did not seem impossible like a Butterfree learning a bunch of moves that were super effective against steel, rock, and ground types. - Gawd3dCommentedAnyway, Gustav sent out a (high) gold Floatzel, which cemented his place as my strongest opponent so far by far. Alphabro's appearance caused quite the hubbub, and I heard more than one person exclaiming "So big", including Diana, who threw me a teasing look while she said that. I stoically ignored her and focused on the battle between Floatzel and Slowbro, though I had to release a snort when one of the sailors in the crowd shouted "I've seen bigger" before quickly adding Pokemon, probably realizing that his words could be easily misunderstood when a few ladies laughed.

Mmmm... Dessert berry.
I continued my stroll around the market and by the time I finished circling the whole berry market, nearly 3 hours had passed. Still, it was a fruitful stroll since I managed to buy a total of 16 "new" berry strains, among them the Hyplan Berry, and the Desert Berry, which was beneficial to ground types, were the most useful. - Gawd3dCommentedAnyway, while the other side did that, Igneel appeared on my side with the words "Let's dance, Igneel", which had my draconic Charizard perform a Dragon Dance as soon as he appeared. The frankly terrible match-up for Scizor did not stop the crowd from cheering once the two Pokemon made their appearance.
- Gawd3dCommentedThat said, the 75 minutes passed by and I managed to reel in 6 more Pokemon during this time. None of them were all that impressive, but I did end up catching 3 of them since they had decent potential, at least they did after the optimization. It did add a bit of variety to the water species, though I'd probably need a lot more Pokemon for a visible impact. Still, for now, a yellow Goldeen, a deep yellow Carvanha, as well as a light green Tentacool ended up joining Utopia.
