12 Trouble at the pokemall (part 2)

The two grunts looked at each other with a serious look before nodding at the same time. suddenly they looked towards Rex again and threw their Pokeball's.

Grunt 1 "Golbat come out and use wing attack"

Grunt 2 "Ekans come out and use poison fang"

Rex "I see, it seems you've made your choice. so be it," he said sighing lightly. In all honesty, he really didn't want to fight if he didn't have to, but these guys clearly don't give a shit about others since they blew a hole in the side of the building where people could have been.

Rex " Machop let's end this quickly and get out of here," he said as he lazily threw the ball in front of him.

Machop burst out of the Pokeball and looked at the two incoming attacks seriously and waited for Rex's command.

Rex " catch Golbat's wing and throw him towards Ekans," he said calmly

Machop stared at the incoming Golbat who was speeding ahead of the Ekans at a fast speed. As Golbat sliced its wing towards Machop, the only thing machop did was wait for the split second before the impact. as the moment arrived Machop clapped both his hands above and below Golbat's left wing and begun to spin using Golbat's momentum. Ekans who was coming in close to land his poison fang suddenly saw a shadow flash in front of his face before he got sent flying back. It was Machop who had let go of Golbats wing when he saw the incoming Ekans.

Rex "good, use a full power thunder punch on the Golbat" he said. the reason was simple, taking down the pokemon thats super effective against Machop took priority, plus Machop is faster than Ekans so he didn't need to worry about him in a 1 v 1.

Machop hearing the command channelled lightning into his right fist and sprinted towards Golbat who was currently trying to fly back into the air. Just as it managed to take flight Golbat felt a strong danger from behind it. it had no time to think before it got hit on the back by machop making it curl backwards almost folding in half before shooting right back to the ground.

It was completely knocked out from the super effective move. seeing that Golbat was down Rex didn't let up.

Rex "use ice punch on Ekans Machop" he didn't want to give the grunts a chance to do or think anything, he wanted to finish this quickly so that he doesn't attract more attention to himself unnecessarily.

Machop rushed towards the Ekans who by now had recovered from getting hit by Golbat and continued to slither towards Machop with big fangs covered in poison energy. Ekans and machop finally collided causing a small shockwave from the impact before seeing a purple snake flying back covered in ice. Rex didn't want to let this continue any further.

Rex "finish it Machop use bullet punch"

the grunts finally woke up from their dazed state and looked towards Rex in terror. before grunt 2 could even recall his Ekans, Machop had already appeared and smashed it on the head with his metal fist. Ekans was by now completely frozen and couldn't move in the slightest. The grunts were shaking in fear at the sheer power behind the machop in front of them. after all, they had seen Machops, but none of them were as fast or as powerful as this one. They were convinced it had something to do with the rare colour of this machop, after all, they had never seen a black machop before.

Rex was clueless as to what they were thinking but even if he knew he wouldn't care much for it since he had better things to do. Rex soon made his way over to the two grunts who were paralyzed in fear as they stared at the oversized machop who was walking by Rex's side with a happy smile. after all, winning a battle was something to be happy about, unfortunately from the grunt's perspective, Machop's smile was akin to the devils.

Grunt 2" w-w-why is your Machop so monstrous?" he asked subconsciously.

Rex was surprised by his question but only shrugged before saying,

Rex " it's simple really, this machop here is a genius," he said with a smile before standing in front of the grunts.

Rex "you don't need to worry about that, right now you have bigger things to worry about. after all i did warn you of the consequences of your actions," he said rather annoyed at them for not listening to him.

what he didn't know was that they were regretting it as well. If they knew this was going to happen they would have listened.

Rex's smile soon disappeared and in its place, a cold grin and vicious eyes appeared.

Rex "I did say you wouldn't be walking out of here, so I need to keep my word," he said ominously

Rex "machop, break their legs," he said casually as if it was unrelated to him.

Machop didn't think much about it, he didn't like to hurt innocent people but these guys clearly asked for it when they refused his master's generosity. he only giggled as he walked towards grunt 1

Rex didn't like that big mouth of his, and since he had to choose one why not go with him.

*CRACK *CRACK

Machop only had to squeeze lightly before the grunts shins snapped in an unnatural way. this was followed by a short muffled scream as Rex covered his mouth and knocked him out. Grunt 2 who was watching this started to shiver intensely as he saw Rex turn towards him and smile.

Grunt 2 "I'm very sorry we didn't want to do this as you clearly heard, we were forced to come here since the boss wanted these stones," he said trying to obtain leniency from Rex. Rex thought of an idea on how to get information on what's going on in the mall.

Rex "I will let you go unharmed if you tell me how many of you there are, their ranks and locations." he stated firmly while glaring at the grunt.

The grunt felt oppressed and once again saw the machop by Rex's side crack his knuckles threateningly.

The grunt cracked begun to spill all the information he knew right away.

Grunt 2 "yes yes, there are 14 grunts, 6 elite grunts and a commander. The admin in charge of the operation thought it was beneath him to attend so he left it for his commander. we are all spread out across the two floors of the mall, and are split into pairs to raid a store each. on the first floor is the commander who is waiting to intercept the police if they arrive. that really is all i know please let me go." he said

Rex knew that he was telling the truth as the fear in his eyes was evident. he would peer over at his comrade who had his lower leg snapped at a weird angle. it gave him a chill. sadly he was destined to be disappointed.

Rex "thank you for your information it will be very helpful. As for letting you go? I'm sorry but I can't do that, you see if I let you go you will snitch on me as any person with common sense would in your situation. But since I'm trying to stay hidden you will not be going anywhere. And also you blasted a fucking hole in the wall and ruined my mood so no i will not be sparing you. But, I will only break one of your legs as a thank you for the information, you really should be thankful." he said with a smirk

The grunt was mortified since he didn't expect Rex to break his promise.

Grunt 2 " aren't you supposed to be the good guy?" he said trying to escape his fate.

Rex "the good guy? hahaha don't make me laugh, I'm not a saint, and there is no right or wrong good or bad. It is only a matter of perspective. all I'm trying to do is enjoy my time, you ruined it, you must pay the corresponding price. simple as that" he said casually.

Before the grunt could say any more he felt a small hand grip his left shin before squeezing and snapping it cleanly. the amount of pain was unbearable and as he was about to release an ungodly scream, a hand covered his mouth. Not long after he fainted and joined his friend.

Rex got up and looked towards Machop

Rex "well done machop, that knuckle cracking was enough to scare the shit out of him," he said while laughing. before long he and machop made their way towards the next store where another pair of team rocket grunts could be seen. It was going to be a long night.
