I haven't even gone that far into the book but I've encountered not less than five cliche scenes/plots. Now, here we are, stumbling into the 'Old Martial Master' /' Hidden Old Master' cliche plot.😮‍💨 I think it's time to exempt my brain cells from exerting work while reading this book.

Just from the first chapter, I was able to guess that this book might just be completely filled with countless unnecessary cliche and cringey plots, face-slapping and useless Chinese novel plots and actions. After the second chapter, this speculation of mine was confirmed. I feel like I slipped up, placing high expectations on this book after seeing the cover and a certain review🤦‍♂️😮‍💨. Anyway, let's just keep going🤷

With the quality and technological level of phones back in 2002, there's no way they can piece up an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy, not to mention the camera effect, technology, efficiency and accuracy. The courage and shamelessness of this guy to stand on that stage, before the world, and boldly spout BS. Imagine if such occurrence were to happen in our world, where an unknown company launches advanced clothes that could protect a person from the partial impact of an atomic/nuclear bomb, provide one with 12hour endless energy and various others, then, Gucci, Versace, Balenciaga and other top clothes and luxury companies come up with such a ridiculous excuse like this... Well, it just depends on who's gonna buy such excuse. I don't know why, but I really find this paragraph funny 🤣😂🤣

I don't know why everyone one ranting about minor mistakes like this. The novel's setting and introduction, so far, has been a good one. If the author says that no one was able to detect the change in gravity and magnetic field in three seconds, then there must have been a reason. Even if people were to notice that such changes happened under three seconds, they probably wouldn't be able to find the cause. Just imagine feeling a slight tremor under your feet, after a certain time has passed, you tend to ignore such occurrence without knowing that an earthquake happened within those three seconds. Or imagine the sun going out for three seconds, even if the scientist were to investigate, they probably won't find an answer, or create false theories like; the sun's dying or reaching the end of its lifespan. Besides, this 's the author's story; if he says that one needs hundred galaxies of energy to time travel, then, don't try to bring your own theory into the chapter's comment, cos that's how the author wants his story settings to be. Anyway, you guys can keep ranting in the comments, I love seeing BS theories and stuffs like this. I prefer ranting when it involves cringey and cliche stuff

With my personality, I feel like this MC needs a whooping. This discussion couldn't have gone to such lengths and dramas if this MC had gone straight to the point from the beginning, instead he kept speaking in some kind of syllable-form. Just saying 🤷, but I like the story so far

But here's a hidden plot within this plot — A mad scientist eventually captures him and performs multiple experiments on him, instead of gaining results, he unexpectedly turned Chu Bai into a powerful Chimaera or made him more Powerful or related stuff. Just saying🤷 But then, people might be like " Why should he be brought back into the story", Well, probably because the heavenly Dao couldn't stand the villain making more progress and getting more powerful, so it decided to use a discarded pawn. Interesting right?

I thought this guy came from a rich background, always receiving a huge amount of pocket money, to the extent that he could spend them extravagantly. So why would he intentionally get involved in such illegal stuff? Also, no one should bring up useless reasons like "He did it to gain recognition " and so many other reasons; he clearly said it in the paragraph — he's doing it to sell them for money. Just saying 🤷

I don't know if you're being sarcastic or what? But I clearly understand that that action of his was out of stupid impulse. One should understand that in his previous, he couldn't even understand or perceive who was his enemy or loyal friend, like in the case of his girlfriend. Also, he was a loyal admirer of that Pink Lotus girl in his previous life. So this all, were the reasons why he couldn't quite comport himself, making his character unstable. This were one of the reasons why he couldn't stick to his character and promises he made to hide his identity, and ended up exposing his real life name and identity to that Pink Lotus girl in real life, leading to his identity being leaked and got targeted by some forces in real life. Even the author said it, that when he added that Pink Lotus girl as a friend in the game, he was so overjoyed that he was almost skipping all the way in the forest. Isn't that a behavior one displays when the gets attention from his crush? Also don't try to say that he's trying to gain favor, because this guy kept doing simpy stuffs, even to the extent of selling his gold coins to her for a cheaper price that what it is being sold for in the black market, using an excuse of not wanting to reap her off. He even went on to tell her his real life name because he felt that as a popular and influential person in his previous life, she could be trust and can keep his secret. In a normal and logical life situation, would people trust figures like Drake, Taylor Swift, Ishowspeed, Messi and all other influential figures just because they are influential? Making her seem trustworthy just after two meetings is just heavy plot armor's work
