It is nice how the stances are described. It's hard to write characters who use ranged weapons in an interesting manner so it's cool to see it done well.

Thank you! To be honest, Mephits are monsters I took from Dungeons and Dragons but changed slightly. The blood being yellow was a trait used by the people I was watching play the game, so I used it here, but I understand now that it takes away from the gory picture I was trying to portray, so most monsters will have red blood now. Hello, this is my first attempt at writing a novel and is my take on the transmigration/ possession trope. As it is my first novel it has many issues mainly being pacing. However, I hope you can enjoy it, nonetheless.

This chapter was difficult to write. I began to question if this whole thing was necessary as it really slows down the pace of the novel. After all, I promised action in the tags, but I have yet to write any. However, it's too late to question this and I simply have to improve from here. I'm going to try and ramp up the pace and trim the unnecessary content. Anyway, thank you to anyone who is still reading, have a nice day :).

Thank you, punctuation is one of the most difficult things for me to understand as a non-native English speaker and because of that I tend to overcompensate by using a lot of commas to improve readability, but I end up making it worse sometimes. I'll try to use them in the new chapter.

I realise that the novel isn't that entertaining to read and ill be surprise if even one person reads it but I somewhat enjoyed writing these few chapters and will use the little free time I get to write for a bit more
