I'm impressed by the strong start and the portrayal of a protagonist who isn't weak-minded. The misunderstandings about his power remind me of "I'm not the demon god's lackey," and there's a similar vibe to "undercover professor," both of which are excellent reads. While this book fills a gap, I find myself enjoying it even more. However, refining the grammar flow and offering better insight into the perspectives and thoughts of other characters could enhance the storytelling. Overall, it's a great story.
Hope she becomes the female lead.
Nowadays, kids are running around saying cringe-worthy things like "San kun," and I can't even stand to read those words. Despite that, I persevered, finding satisfaction in the novel's development. Ultimately, I chose to delete it, as the story didn't deserve a small negative comment.
Good
Oh, here comes the introduction of an irritating and intrusive female character in the story.
Hope she is the female lead.
Initially, I thought this could be an excellent novel, akin to "I'm not the demon god's lackey." However, the concept lost its appeal for me when the main character started world-hopping. It disrupted my reading enjoyment as I was just beginning to grasp the details of the initial world. Suddenly shifting to a frozen world felt jarring, and I believe the narrative would have been more engaging by focusing on a single world as readers were forming a mental image of the surroundings. Personally, I find world-hopping less enjoyable to read, but that's just my perspective.
This is peculiar. When the main character's mom and Michael get together, wouldn't that make Seraphina his stepsister? I had assumed Xin would date Seraphina; this is why I'm already dropping the novel due to this perplexing issue. I don't comprehend why authors choose to depict the main character without parents, always with a lonely mom raising kids or the MC being an orphan because their parents died in a tragic accident. Why can't the MC have both parents? I know this is somewhat off-topic, but for goodness' sake, this is frustrating.
