This is the first novel where I’ve seen a character pick up a swarm ability but doesn’t use it to its purpose. It’s like the Mc is a ant queen But instead of using her ants for combat and expansion. Just uses the ants for recon while the ant queen does the fighting. The ant queen doesn’t even try increasing population actively which ruins the ability absorbed. This is very dull and boring. And this continues beyond 200 chapters. He picked such a crap choice for a beast to merge with. And I believe it’s going to increment little by little, authors going to say stuff like…. and this is why picking this egg was wise etc when it’s actually the weakest of the lot, one such statement is survival of the fittest not strongest. But the mc is trash compared to his counterparts even then. He fights hard whereas his counterparts would stomp his current enemys. But like I said. Author will go survival of the fittest not the strongest. This is not a diss to the author but what’s the point of having an ant queen that doesn’t try gaining more ants and expanding through that path. I’ve already overlooked the mc being raped and forced to have a child, raise the child due to plot which ruined any proper future he could have had. Even then I hate how everyone is acting like they are the good guys when the boar king was the biggest victim, truthfully to me I think this story is actually from a villains point of view whereas the whole mammoth clan is a abomination and the boar king is the mc trying to get his revenge. That’s why I hope my previous comment comes true. It’s good to get your readers frustrated like this but I’m frustrated not for good reasons after reading 200 chapters, like I’ll drop it frustrated. The story and fighting feels weak. This story is only good because there are not any good novels at all currently hence people saying this is good. But damn logic is not used well in this book. If any reader wants to read, there’s so much forced plot, little logic in the mc, and bad guys(tusks) acting as the good guys the whole story it seems. the writing is good, worldbuiling is good, story is good but needs better logic and better thinking from mc who was a shut in his whole life and probably read solo leveling. So he should have went the army route but doesn’t which contradicts his ability. Even at the start he said he plans to swarm the enemy but doesn’t actively take steps for it. Ehh Read it or don’t. But I guarantee you will be annoyed by the story. Which might make you drop it which I support in dropping.

Honest review I’m not really sure the author knows how to write a good battle arc. Up to chapter 100 is okay and quick paced but for 60 whole chapters….. 60 chapters in a row…….chapter 100-161 The author extended the fight too much and too long. Just 1 fight. A one on one. 60 chapters. I’m actually surprised I stuck with it. I’m now stopping the novel after writing the comment to this point. Other facts about novel MC has too many emotional bursts and does the opposite of what he says MC skills actually keep getting nerfed a lot which is annoying as well. MC does stupid things, like he is a cold blooded killer but he randomly finds a cat and falls in love with it. GREAT REASON WHY???? Because of its eyes. No JOKE. That is the same excuse being used. Because of its eyes. …..my last brain cell just farted, got cancer and died. Read at own risk of brain fart cancer

I’ m up to 1900 chapters + , It’s always a repeat Going to new place, starts weak gets strong, leaves to another higher place, repeat same cycle and change the names basically Another annoying part is the author keep mentioning how the MC will be known years later as the tyrannical emperor or people in the future will dread this of him or that What’s the point of reading on if you keep saying everything is alright and the MC keeps getting his way. Like omg.…. The MC has never actually lost anything of his once. ….. I must be brain dead now with the chapters I read.

Real review - Spoiler The novel is as good as it’s romance…. Romance - Guy orders pizza, Hot pizza girl delivers food late at night, MC thinks it’s normal, he has had many top girls chase him in the past, Author never reveals what the MC looks like, MC is total chick magnet….. She sees he has a ps5, Asks the MC if she can play for 30mins Plays for 2 hours, Now she has to go home….. 10mins later She missed her bus, She comes back to MC’s house, while MC is having a mad bat in the shower She breaks in the apartment “because it’s alright as long as the door is unlocked” Sees the MC in the shower and says I bought bbq and drinks. Let me stay over…….. MC is not phased, let’s her stay even tho he doesn’t know her He says nothing is going to happen,… Next day they wake up together having done the deed She says she was a virgin MC says back im a virgin as well This is the same MC that before this said he was chased by beautiful women and he was some player… Now they are boyfriend girlfriend The story is as good as the romance. You might think it sounds good, that’s because I’m the author of this comment. Sounds much plainer in the novel. No discredit to the author, but romance is a good place to improve on. Spoiled If you read the synopsis, you should get where the story is supposed to develop It takes over 760 chapters just for the game to start merging with the real world, until then it is just playing games and waste of word count. Yes the novel is decent but a big waste of time. Don’ recommend, stick with a story that actually follows the synopsis
