This is a bit bloated with words.
Magic toasters are a cool idea, I like them. Dragonskin is probably a very good material for handbags. I like several magitech tropes, but I don't know if there are many books about wizards literally smuggling stuff into a fantasy world. It felt like a funny idea and I wanted to read it, so I had to write it. I also like the main character. He's someone right on the borderline between heroic mentality and opportunism. I like the book as a whole. It's mine. It's something fun, and that's fun.
Yes
I'm just hating on the Dreamer
Author here. While I can't actually say anything perfectly objective about my own books except that I'm obviously right, I can say that it's a natural progression of my own voice and plotting methods. It's better than the last one, I mean. The core concept is the wish for unlimited wishes, a spellbook that enables you to create unlimited spells in a world where spellmaking is penalized heavily or impossible and casting spells is hard and dangerous. I think that's a neat goal, which is why I like my book. I also like the way I've cleaned up my style. Sometimes I do go on a tangent, but that's just the way it is. The main character may not sound sympathetic. However, I started to like Lieto, and I think you might like him, too.
me but unironically
On this platform, it's hard to imagine this selling too well. It's not horrible. The grammar and style are fit for the tropes and the chosen genre. However, that's where it ends for me. Long paragraphs make it impossible to read for mobile users, the self-indulgent language turns me off immediately, and the cardboard-like taste of the plot and the characters prevents me from enjoying this. Someone might enjoy it, because there is a market for this, but I don't consider it to be top quality writing. It's like the book itself is breathing heavily into my ear. Please change the rating, too.
this part of the story was based on a true story, just a regular morning in my own life
As long as you don't insult him by forging it all wrong it's okay. Source: I'm a lawyer
Ok wow calm down
Stop looking at things you creepy bird. It's such a disturbing mental image.
A) no and B) thanks! Not gonna fix it, book is ancient and doesn't earn, but I appreciate
I'm brainstorming as hard as I can and these comments give me a lot of motivation to do it more. I will aim to, dunno, write something that more than 3 people will like. Which makes sense. Thank you.
You pay for character development when you do it I guess? Either good or bad development
Yeah, sadly no contract in sight for this
Hm, if you mean River Lord then sadly yes. No contract = no incentive for me. Idk if you meant that one tho.
Bit of a mindscrew part even if you saw it coming
