I just stared at my son and then back to the egg in question absolutely floored at the information. Mankeys have a base attack of 80 with proper training and the Pokemon potential it could easily reach 100 in just a few years couple that with the 2x of that ability. We are looking at a Pokemon with an attack well over 200 as a Mankey. My golem who I've been training for 50 years only has a base attack of 135 when I last checked a few years ago and shouldn't be more than 140 now. Not to mention when it one day evolves. How fearsome would his primape become. The Eevee also had a good ability speed boost but is reliant on the Pokemon fighting long enough for it to take effect. But this Mankey just the thought of its potential sent shivers down my back, but also reassured me. With such promising partners my son should definitely have an easier path than I did and I'm confident he'll be able to protect himself.
