125 Chapter 125

|3rd POV|

Carcette, the Keeper of the Vigil, roars as she swings her sword at the vampire in front of her. Her attack managed to break the wards the vampire used to block an attack. When the ward is broken, Carcette charges forward and swings her weapon at the vampire, destroying the skull with her mace.

However, after she kills the vampire, her body gets thrown away, and she screams in pain as a firebolt hits her and explodes.

Carcette uses healing spells to heal her body as she glares at the vampires walking toward her with smug smiles. She can see her fellow Vigilant get pushed to the corner and their headquarters burning from the fight.

"Hahahaha! I can feel it! I can taste it! I can taste your fear! I can smell your despair, mortal!"

Carcette roars once again and leaps at the Master Vampire with her mace above her. However, before she can swing it, the Master Vampire grabs her neck and chokes her mid-air.

"I must commend you for your stupidity. You fight until the end. However, it is time to end this pointless dance."

The Master Vampire throws her to the ground, and she can see foul energy gather in his hand as if a dark orb were above his hand.

"You should be honored, mortal. I shall take care of your body. I shall make your body as my greatest puppet."

The Master Vampire is about to release a Drain Life spell, but before he can do that, someone appears next to him and cuts off the vampire's head. Carcette widens her eyes as she sees a young man with white hair and golden eyes land on the ground with a sword in his hand.

This young man is Ryan Hernandes.

Without looking at her, Ryan says.

"Are you okay? Can you still fight?"

Carcette nods her head, takes her mace, and says.

"Yes."

"Good. Let's kill these vampires and help the others."

Carcette did not know who this stranger was, but she would not reject help.

Ryan nods and charges toward a nearby vampire. He can see the vampire trying to create a barrier. However, before she can create a barrier, Ryan already stabs her in the neck and swings his sword to cut off the head.

"You bastard! Attack him! Kill him!"

The other vampires shout angrily as they order their thralls to focus on Ryan and Carcette. The people in this world might be strong, but they are still behind the physical strength of the Youkai Ryan fights on a daily basis in his college.

Because of this, Ryan easily dodges and kills many of the undead that are coming at him. He raises his hand, blocks the incoming attack, and grunts a little. That lightning bolt hurt him. Ryan wonders why the magic attack hurt him because he feels that the mana in that attack should be able to hurt him this much.

He did not know that the manga around Skyrim and Nirn is different from the one in the DxD world. This world's mana is more primal. That means it is more powerful and potent but lacks the fineness of the mana in the DxD world.

It is like comparing Raw Attack against Conceptual Attack. One attack can destroy the world by sheer raw power, and the other can destroy the world by using the concept of 'Death' to the world.

"Attack him with magic! He is weak against magic!"

Ryan clicks his tongue and starts to take a deep breath. He needs to take this seriously and decide to use something that he rarely uses. As he releases another breath from his mouth, something spreads from his body. The mark came from his chest and spread to his neck. This is the mark of the Sun, his Demon Slayer Mark.

He might not know this, but this action makes the Vigilant of Stendarr look at him in a new light. They can feel the warmth of the sun coming out of Ryan, and they assume that Ryan is the chosen one of Kynareth, for she is the Goddess of Heaven, Sky, and the Elements. Her symbol is the afternoon sun, with a dove flying in the middle of the sun.

If the Vigilant of Stendarr looks at him with comfort and hope, the vampires look at him in fear as they can feel their blood start to get hot from the presence of Ryan and his Demon Slayer Mark.

Ryan releases another breath, and suddenly, his sword starts to light up. Before the vampires can do anything, he appears to the nearest vampire and swings his sword.

Hinokami Kagura: Dance

His sword cuts through the vampire's body like a hot knife through butter, and Ryan looks at his next target. Seeing Ryan looking at them, the rest of the vampires use all their strength to run away.

Carcette widens her eyes and quickly prepares a spell to prevent them from running away.

"Don't let them get away! Cast Paralyze spells at them!"

Carcette grits her teeth as she sees the vampires getting far away, far enough for her spell not to reach them. As she is about to release an angry scream for letting them run away, she blinks when she sees Ryan disappear from his position and leave a trail of lightning and flame behind. She can see the trail appear next to one of the vampires.

Ryan swings his sword, cutting off one of the vampires' heads in a single swing.

Hinokami Kagura: Dancing Flash

As he lands on the ground, Ryan takes a deep breath and dashes forward once again. He maintains his breathing as he swings and runs at the remaining twelve vampires who try to run away. One by one, the vampires lose their heads as Ryan finishes his attack with a thrust movement and creates an image of a dragon made of fire.

Ryan releases a sigh and looks at the carnage he left behind. He looks at the group of people that run toward him, and when they arrive in front of him, Carcette says.

"Thank you for the help, stranger. May I know your name?"

While Ryan and the remaining Vigilant of Stendarr have a pleasant conversation, someone watches over them curiously. This being is a beautiful woman with emerald-colored eyes and light blue hair. Sitting on her right shoulder is a beautiful silver dove that shines a little.

This woman is Kynareth, the Goddess of Heaven, Sky, and the Elements. She looks at the mirror in front of her curiously. This is the first time she sees a mortal that is so attuned to her authority.

Without him knowing, Ryan manages to get Kynareth's interest.

Sitting on the throne of time, Akatosh cannot help but do a facepalm as he forgets to tell Ryan not to use his demon slayer ability while in Skyrim. While he already masks his presence and hides all the blessings he gets from Susanoo and Soripada, he forgets to tell him not to use his demon slayer ability.

Akatosh shakes his head and lets it be. At least he already told Ryan not to use his blessing while in this world. At the moment, he needs to make sure his last son and champion do not wander around Skyrim doing some side-quest.

The last time he leaves him alone, he somehow becomes the Archmage of the College of Winterhold with nothing but Novice Spells!

This is what happens when you leave a Nord, who wants to learn to be a mage. They will always end up using their favorite spell: Warhammer to the face.
