2 The Dungeon

Azaroth bated an eyebrow at Rias.

"It's a Gauntlet, not a glove," Azaroth said.

"It looks cool," Rias said and stood up, "I want it!"

'Spoiled brat,' Azaroth thought as he finished his food.

"You can't have it Rias, It's mine," Azaroth said.

Sure Children were allowed to be spoiled a bit but Azaroth knew that this girl was getting anything she wanted in this Household, Why must he give her his Destruction Gauntlet?

"You're weak, that's clearly an item for a strong person like me," Rias said and Azaroth winced.

'A little harsh,' Azaroth thought.

"You aren't having my Gauntlet and that's it," Azaroth said and even started storming off.

Rias's eyes flashed as a magical circle appeared in her palms, She pointed it to Azaroth's back and was ready to cast a spell with POD only for Grayfia to grab her hand and stop the Spell.

"You're being Haughty again, Lady Rias," Grayfia said, her tone menancing, "Lady Venelana clearly said you shouldn't try to attack your brother, I shall tell this to her when she returns,"

Rias started tearing up and backed off.

"You're a snitch!" She cried out while running upstairs.

Grayfia chuckled a bit and then turned to the backyard door which was left right open.

"Wonder what Master Azaroth is doing?" Grayfia asked herself.

#####

Azaroth sat in a meditative posture; he unequipped his 'Destruction Gauntlet' as equipping it passively increased the density and amount of his POD by 20x.

Everywhere was silent and Azaroth found solace and peace in the backyard as he tapped into his inner reserves, the original had summoned his POD once or twice and the experience stuck with the new Azaroth.

A faint Gremory family magic circle appeared beneath him as Azaroth summoned his Power of Destruction. Faint crimson aura wrapped around his entire figure and Azaroth focused on turning his POD into a ball.

It took a lot of time, maybe 20 minutes but the ball slowly formed from his POD. When it reached the size of a Tennis ball, it abruptly stopped growing much to Azaroth's disappointment.

Nevertheless, He focused on creating more. Since they were coming from his POD, He could perceive their size without seeing them.

Another set of minutes passed and his POD created another tennis ball of energy, there was a mechanical ding echoing through his head and Azaroth was sure he had completed his Daily mission.

To Azaroth, Power of Destruction [P.O.D] was a manipulative force that destroys anything it comes in contact with. It was similar to Haki in Dragon Ball Super but a lot more corrosive and destructive than the former. POD was raw uncompromised power which focused solely on attacking power than the others and that is what the users of this Magic have been doing.

Azaroth's POD was far weaker and less dense in power than Rias's POD but he was grateful for it, While his POD was faint, it was also easier to understand.

To create a ball of POD, You had to make a point and attract your POD there which would then gather there. If your POD was dense enough, the ball would be formed rather easily and quickly but if it was thin like Azaroth, then it would be harder to form.

'I want to mimic the Limitless technique with my POD,' Azaroth thought.

Grayfia looked at Azaroth, his concentration unwavering as he created more balls of POD around himself.

"You're amazing," Grayfia commented and his focus shifted.

Azaroth's eyes snapped open and the balls of POD vanished.

"Grayfia, You made me lose concentration," Azaroth said.

"Sorry," Grayfia said but Azaroth dismissed her rather promptly.

"No worries, I wanted to ask you for something, Can you train me?" Azaroth asked.

Azaroth had some martial arts experience from his past life but he doubted it would matter in a world like this- And Grayfia was a strong devil, She could teach him a lot of things.

"You want me to teach you, Master Azaroth?" Grayfia asked.

"Yes," Azaroth said, "And can you stop calling me master? It's a little cringe, Just call me Azaroth,"

Grayfia's eyes widened in response to his words.

'He used to like it,' Grayfia thought but nevertheless she gave a nod.

"Okay, Azaroth," Grayfia said.

Azaroth nodded and gave her a small smile, If he hoped to cultivate a romantic relationship with Grayfia in the near future… Master had to go.

"Now you want me to train you," Grayfia said, "It won't be easy,"

"I don't want it to be easy," Azaroth said.

#####

A month had already passed since Azaroth has been reincarnated in this world and he had grown considerably stronger than before.

The density of his POD had increased a little bit and now it was a vibrant shade of crimson, It wasn't as deep as Rias's POD yet but Azaroth had enough time to grow stronger than Rias.

The Spars with Grayfia were draining in the least, He was never able to touch her and she was always able to touch him- But his eyes were slowly getting used to Grayfia's speed.

Right now, Grayfia was busy helping Venelana prepare Rias for a birthday party with one of her friends.

Azaroth just finished meditating and harnessing his POD into 3 orbs that were the size of a Soccer ball.

"Finally," Azaroth said, His POD had finally created balls the size of decent attacks.

'Heh, Grayfia better watch out,' Azaroth thought.

[Congratulations on Finishing the Daily Mission]

After Azaroth cashed in on the rewards, a satisfied smile crossed his face but then a look of surprise replaced it as a hidden item popped onto the screen.

[Hidden Item: Dungeon Key]

[Uses: Can be used to open an Instance Dungeon]

[Would you like to use the Dungeon Key?]

[Yes / No]

Azaroth looked around, He had nothing to do. He was really bored.

"Yes," He muttered and the Key floated out of the screen into the wall ahead, as the key made contact with the wall.

A brilliant rumble of lightning exploded through the room blowing Azaroth's hair backward.

Slowly, a portal- a gateway to another dimension opened and Azaroth equipped his 'Destruction Gauntlet'. Every single advantage he had mattered.

'But it's strange that I haven't gained any skills yet,' Azaroth thought.

Sung Jin-Woo had a great deal of skills…

'Maybe it's because I haven't entered any real battles,' Azaroth finalized.

In his training with Grayfia, she wasn't coming at him with the intent to kill and was only testing his limits.

Azaroth took steps closer to the purple gate, shimmering with golden bolts of lightning.

Each step brought him closer to the edge, He was finally going out to experience Battles in real life.

And then he stepped into the gate…

#####

Azaroth appeared in a rocky environment, there was a distinct smell permeating in the air.

[Congratulations on entering a D-grade Demonic Dungeon]

On instinct, A Gremory magic circle appeared below his feet as a vibrant crimson aura surrounded his entire body.

And suddenly, the gauntlet reacted to his Magical energy- the circuits lit up and the orb in the center glowed softly.

Energy seeped through his veins as Azaroth's eyes widened in surprise.

"I didn't expect my POD to be this strong with the Gauntlet," Azaroth said.
