The story is quite obviously translated and the personalities of the characters have been replaced with stereotypes so obvious I felt I was reading a wuxia. Yeah, but they only help him percieve and visualise it I think. More like an aide than actually giving him perfect control. A blind archer will struggle more than one with sight, but both need to learn how to aim and fire
