"Oh Naruto! Kiss me now!" Naruto looked down at Sakura who had her lips puckered while tip toeing. Naruto grinned as he cupped her face.
"This is the first of many! Believe it!" Naruto whispered as he leaned into Sakura's face while closing his eyes.
"Wake up!!! Idiot!!!"
"Huh!" Naruto immediately opened his eyes widely as he snapped out of his dream. He looked up to see Sakura pouting at him.
"Oh wow Sakura-chan, you're the same as Haku, an angel." Naruto whispered, making Sakura blush vividly and slapped his head lightly.
"J-just get up, Naruto. Lord Third is outside. He's here to see us." Sakura stuttered out. Naruto chuckled and patted her head before sitting up.
" P-put some clothes on, idiot. Are you seriously gonna meet with the Hokage like this?" Satsuki asked while pointing at his shirtless body with a blush on her face. Naruto looked dowm and realized that he had gone to sleep with only his shorts on.
"Well, too late now Satsuki." Sakura sighed as the door opened, revealing Hiruzen who had a smile on his face. Naruto got out of his single bed and grinned at Hiruzen. "Hey gramps! How are you holding up?!"
Hiruzen smiled. "Good morning Naruto, I'm feeling more energetic than I did the past few years. Thanks to the Shadow Clones helping me with the paperwork, I can finally get some training in." Hiruzen replied as he looked at his two teammates.
"Satsuki-chan, Sakura-chan. It is good to see you two too. I trust you all are doing well? " Hiruzen asked, relieved to see that all three of them are mostly unharmed. They do need a few more hours of sleep though.
"So could you three elaborate on what happened from your perspective?" Hiruzen asked them. The three Genin looked at each other, nodding before they started recounting their encounter with Orochimaru.
They told Hiruzen what happened to them from after the group had been separated by the Wind Style Jutsu. The old Hokage felt like he was going to have a heart attack several times in the story, especially when Naruto told him about the part where he got stabbed through the chest.
It turns out that Naruto was the one who sent the morse code flare signal up to the sky. Hiruzen could also not help but feel pride at the three Genin for their bravery at facing Orochimaru.
"So you're the only one who received the cursed seal?" Hiruzen asked Naruto with a frown on his face after the report ended. Naruto nodded.
"Yep. Satsuki was also his target but Kakashi sensei stopped him just in time." Naruto replied to him.
"Would you allow me to seal it, Naruto?" Hiruzen asked him. Naruto shook his head.
" No need, it's useless now. " Naruto replied, Hiruzen tilted his head a little.
" Useless? How so? " The old Hokage asked Naruto. Naruto sighed and rubbed his face, ready to give out the explanation again.
Throughout his explanation about why the cursed seal was useless, Hiruzen almost had a stroke and a heart attack when he heard about the Kyuubi giving him a lot of chakra and him firing a Tailed Beast Bomb.
"And that's basically it." Naruto finished his explanation with a satisfied smile on his face. Hiruzen leaned back on the wall with an expression of disbelief.
'This is the first time I've heard about this. I swear the world is about to end. The Kyuubi working together with his host even if it's just for a while is impossible.'
'Only Kumo's Eight Tailed Jinchuriki, Killer Bee, has full cooperation with his Tailed Beast. You definitely chose the right person to contain him, Minato.' Hiruzen thought with a smile before nodding.
"A job well done, you all. I'm feeling generous today, I will give you rewards for being such upstanding Shinobi. Tell me, what do you need—"
" Jutsu. "
" Jutsu. "
" Jutsu." All three answered Hiruzen at the same time. Hiruzen chuckled and nodded.
"Actually, we need more than just that. We need complex chakra control exercises, more taijutsu style scrolls, and I need more complex books about Fūinjutsu. In exchange for that, how about I put a seal on Anko that would seal up the cursed seal for good?" Naruto suggested. Hiruzen raised an eyebrow at him.
" But she already has the Evil Sealing Method on her? And her cursed seal is dormant too, so there's no chance of her using it." Hiruzen argued with him. Naruto grinned as he took out a notebook.
"I created a modified version of the Evil Sealing Method, it's essentially a double-layered version of that. " Naruto revealed, gaining Hiruzen's full attention.
"What I did was dual layer it so that rather than just being tied to her will, it's also tied to my will, meaning that even if there's even this small chance that Anko tried to use it, it wouldn't work unless I gave permission for it to be used. This also has the added benefit of allowing her to train harder since she does not need to constantly be worried about keeping the seal in check." Naruto explained to the old Hokage who was staring at the blonde in amazement as he listened to his explanation.
'To think that in less than two years Naruto has come so far in such a difficult skill to learn. Truly worthy of the Uzumaki name.' Hiruzen thought.
"That's extremely impressive Naruto, modifying and improving an A-rank sealing technique. I hope you keep up the good work." Hiruzen replied truthfully with a smile on his face.
" Hehehe! Thanks Gramps!" Naruto replied while scratching the back of his head and grinning sheepishly. Hiruzen chuckled and nodded.
"You know, if you're interested I could have Jiraiya look over a few of your seal designs when he's back in the village." Sarutobi suggested. Naruto's eyes brightened up and he grinned broadly.
" That. Would. Be. AWESOME!!!" He shouted happily. Satsuki and Sakura smiled a little seeing their blonde teammate so happy like this. Hiruzen nodded with a smile on his face.
"It's a deal then. Naruto will put the Dual Layered Evil Sealing Method on Anko's cursed seal and in exchange you three will get all the chakra control exercises, taijutsu styles and a few Jutsu scrolls of your choosing."
"I thank you three for giving me your report on what happened. The second stage for the Chunin Exams will be ending in two days, so I suggest you use that time to rest." Hiruzen advised. Naruto rubbed his stomach.
" Let's go get some food then! I feel like I haven't eaten in weeks! Are you coming with us, gramps? " Naruto asked Hiruzen who chuckled.
" Sorry, but I can't. I have an important meeting with someone." Hiruzen replied. Naruto sighed.
" Okay then, see you soon gramps! "
" See you soon, Lord Third. "
" Hn. "
Hiruzen chuckled and nodded at the trio." See you kids soon! " He waved at them as the exited the room together. As the door shut Hiruzen looked at the corner of the room.
"What do you think?" He asked no one. There was a shimmer before a man appeared on the corner.
That man is Jiraiya, the Toad Sage. Jiraiya is a tall(191.2cm/6'3) and well-built man in adulthood with fair skin. He had waist-length, spiky white hair that he usually ties back into a pony tail, with two shoulder-length bangs framing his face.
There were red lines under his eyes that went all the way to the bottom of his face. He has wrinkles around the corners of his mouth and a wart on the left side of his nose.
His usual attire consisted of a green short shirt kimono and matching pants, under which he wore mesh armour that is visible at his wrists and ankles. He also wore hand guards, a black belt, traditional Japanese wooden sandals, and a red haori with two yellow circles on each side.
He often carried a large scroll on his back, and had a tattoo on his left palm, and he wore a horned forehead protector with the kanji for 'oil' which denoted his affiliation with Mount Myoboku, the Land of Toads.
Jiraiya smirked as he rubbed his chin. "He's definitely their son alright. Smart, innovative, reckless and energetic. He's the perfect blend of Minato and Kushina."
" He's definitely talented in Fūinjutsu i can tell you that. I'm not even sure Minato could have come up with a seal like that at his age. And this means we won't have to worry about the snake trying to affect Anko's mind since he would have to go through Naruto first. "
Hiruzen hummed after hearing Jiraiya's words. "So I'm guessing you would be willing to help him out over the one month period? I also need you to look at his seal. Call me paranoid but I fear the Kyuubi may be able to try and influence him, using cooperation as a disguise to his true intentions." Hiruzen replied, making Jiraiya shrug.
" We'll see what happens, so long as it doesn't cut into my research. " Jiraiya muttered. Hiruzen shook his head.
" Have you no shame, Jiraiya? Talking about those kinds of things in front of your sensei." The old Hokage scolded.
" And you're telling me you do, sensei? Besides, I only need a little bit more material before I come up with my newest Icha Icha series." Jiraiya answered with a big grin. Hiruzen raised an eyebrow.
"Hmmm well that is quite important..... Still, I think you should help train the boy." Hiruzen advised him. Jiraiya looked at Hiruzen seriously.
" You don't need to worry about that, sensei. I'll perform my duty as his godfather and train him to be the strongest ninja in the world. I have many great failures in my life, Naruto would not and will never be one of them. "
" The Council will—
"Excuse my language sensei, but the council can go fuck themselves for all I care. I will not have greedy bastards who would rather cause their village to fall than be poor order me around."
" You're too soft on them, sensei. You're the Hokage, the military leader of the strongest hidden village in the world. You're the military dictator of a bunch of super ninjas, please start acting like one or else someone *cough!* Danzo *cough!* will take matters into their own hands. " Jiraiya advised. He threw a scroll at Hiruzen who caught it easily.
" It's about Otogakure." Jiraiya explained before he sank into the ground using Earth Style: Hiding Like a Mole Jutsu.
Hiruzen looked down at the ground as he exited the room. The Anbu members outside of the room followed him, acting as his bodyguards even though he doesn't need them.
"Why do your words have to be so true, my boy?"
