Read up to chapter 56, not terrible just spread way too thin. Bunch of characters and abilities and systems introduced one after another with almost no real time devoted to developing or explaining them. Classic Wish Fulfillment MC who goes from nobody to super OP god among men. A good example of what I mean by spread too thin is how only about 40 shortish chapters in, with barely any time devoted to developing his two wives he starts with. MC already has a new third wife and adopted her daughter. Make the core characters interesting and not just anime character stereotypes of “Buff Battle Maniac Girl” or “Silent library nerdy girl” or “Perverted Evil Young Master” make them seem like real people not just surface level personalities. Good luck to author though, has promise but I’ll be dropping
Light slows down when it comes in contact with gravity. The reason black holes are just black is because no light is escaping it’s gravity.
Love the author and have read each of his 3 books, Profane Prince, this, and Nine Venoms. This one is good in that there is a lot of mystery and the story was just getting to the point where the MC was unleashing his fleshcrafting skills. Only problem I have is that after reading Profane Prince and then coming to this, I dislike that the father of the MC is gearing up to be the final main villain that is extremely overpowered and just gets power ups to always be better than the MC until the end. Author likes making the MC’s father be mysterious, in Profane Prince he ends up being the final villain mastermind, in this he has deva powers to counter MCs devil powers, and in Nine Venoms it’s hinted his father knew way too much about cultivation for being a normal human. Wish this would come back though, love the authors writing style, power systems, and storytelling
The species has to be able to utilize mana in a way where it does not enter their bodies since that is the rule of Gravitas, I personally would like to see an evolution based survival of the fittest continent where the strong get stronger by defeating and consuming their rivals then evolving to become better sort of like a beast kingdom and Darius rules since the strongest rules the kingdom and they all recognize Darius as the strongest, but that does not utilize the mana rules of Gravitas so idk.
Honestly, I loved the first 310 or so chapters, translation was good, world building and power system had some good ideas, story was developing and enough to keep me interested. This book really focused on the storylines of different players and how the gaming community would interact with a game like in the book. However, I rated this so low because it went on a long almost year long break with no updates, now it is back and the translation has taken a nosedive in quality, it seems almost machine translated with no proofreading. Recommend first 300 chapters, unless they fix the translation, don’t bother past that
Since this finished in 30 chapters, good lord I guess the author got bored and decided to rush the ending. There’s still the emperor level pocket dimension beasts like the golden sun and black dragon to beat plus why the barren emperor is sealed and why potential emperors are dying and the entirety of the cosmic lord level of Lu Zes cultivation. I’m not really surprised that the ending will be rushed because it should be expected with how lazy the author is through his extremely repetitive writing. The worst part of this book is that it never addressed the fact that Lu Ze literally took over the dead body of the real Lu Ze when he transmigrated. Like he felt no guilt or anything really about taking the real body’s life and then basically steals the family too. This webnovel has always been painfully average and I expect the ending to be the same
Kinda a big difference between was and wasn’t here. I’m assuming wasn’t
Probably one of the best cultivation novels on here, I initially read to ch 20 months ago and dropped it but recently I picked it back up and binged it all. It has the cliche cultivation interactions with arrogant young masters and every strong person going “Hmph” but it executes far better than others. The MCs and side characters abilities are interesting and fairly unique. The battles are cool and MC isnt completely OP. The best part though is that the author actually gives attention to the side characters and gives them a unique personality. The Central region arc so far has been great due to the introduction of cool new side characters that make it interesting. I will warn it is harem with explicit scenes but he just got his second member officially in like Ch 600. There is also good mystery around the MCs origins and his “golden finger” abilities. Highly recommend, Want more chapters.
Love this unique novel. Describes events and action and abstract ideas well, MC is only really “evil” in the first volume (100 chapters), after that he does less evil things and becomes more goal driven and oriented. This book also “parodies” internet and video game culture, for example theres a Dark Souls style world and characters like Black Widow from Marvel or the Doctor from Doctor Who, but the author takes these characters and concepts and makes them unique in his story and they are not entirely the focus. Overall a great novel, easily top 5 for me on this site. Very unique and well done writing and grammar, and I always buy privilege and new chapters with coins because I like it so much.
