Both of the two big Chinese cooking novels have problems... but if I had to chose one over the other, it'd be the other one due to a little better translation and also better story development.

The setting is very interesting and what kept me reading, but the story can definately be better written. It is also slow paced. 6 chapters in nothing has happened yet other than constant explaining that he is suppossed to be a npc on a farm but is not. The writing quality seemed pretty *******ish

I mean u spammed 5 different replies in a short time before u settled on 1... so yeah pretty sure your the same guy. Btw, for future reference, WN shows a user whenever theyre replied to / liked. They can still read the replies even if its deleted, though others wont be able to so u dont have to worry about that. Also its strange how that account did the same exact thing you did. Even the grammar / writing style is the same. It was even spammed and deleted, which seems oddly familiar... Hm... Cant put my mind to it. Very weird. Anyways, I see y u deleted as I myself dont get it, but why would I get a hacker..? Also why would you even ask to get hacked... I'm guessing you're not an *****, but you should know getting hacked is illegal and bad... Not to mention your inkstone account can transfer your income and WN cant probably do much about it till its too late assuming they are smart enough to time it. I just dont get it... Also hacking for the most part doesnt work like that. In the future though, please take longer before you reply, as honestly you're just further proving you are the same person. Grammar, hate, spam, deleting. Plus why did it take you so long to notice a direct reply and respond to the alt but pretty much instantaniously spam me when I didnt even reply to you on accident :/ Think about decisions before u act please

1. You wouldnt keep replying if u werent the author / the alt. 2. You literally created a fresh acc whose only activity was a 5 star rev on your novel which knew the plot with 0 secs/mins/hours read, 0 books tried/read but knowing the plot and quality of the novel, and the also commenting on this review. If you at least used another excuse such as "I am his friend" or even had at least a little bit of activity on something else before u did it, I would've probably believed. But after I called you out, you started to magically have activity and then reviewed Astral Pets which was likely what this was inspired by. 3. I honestly dont really care if authors make alts to boost your novel, as lots of times it is real people such as family or friends, not to mention lots of people try to abuse the system when they make a new novel, however, it's another thing to make a brand new alt acc and basically the first thing you do is reply to a negative review and act morally just. Not to mention the spam you did from the moment I woke up to sleeping and even starting to spam on the novels I dropped a long time ago that are on this acc. I am thankful though that you stopped after a day as notification spam every 30mins-hour was annoying. 4. Im not low enough to spam 1 star revs just cause I didnt enjoy your story, nor check to see if the novel is getting 5 star spammed by a same person or new accs, but I am low enough to come back if my rev is ever deleted as I got tired of authors deleting my reviews because I didnt threat them since I tend to give more 3 star ish reviews since Im picky and 3 star range is what I consider average. When it is an original novel, I try to write out everything I didnt like about it so the minority of authors that do care and want feedback that they basically never get, get it. I'm not targeting you, I only came back due to the reply and happened to click the acc when I saw it was lvl 1 then discovered how freaking suspicious it was. If you hadnt kept spamming then there wouldnt be this much replies / traction to the review, not to mention it probably wouldve doubled if you didnt start spamming on the old novels I gave up on this acc instead of this review.

lol, honestly not surprised with WN though, they don't care about copyrights unless they get sued, then the blame is shifted onto the author and not the platform. For example Top Celebrity although isn't a hard copy like this, it basically copied the whole exact plots from 2 novels and only changed the names of the characters / places. Yet that hit top ranks and even got sponsored pretty heavily by WN so... yep

Another cliched cultivation flick without anything unique .

It was pretty interesting at the start, and I really liked the 2 main side characters. However, it started getting boring after a while due to the repetitive plot structures and somewhat bleak and dull atmosphere of the dungeon. The story lacked descriptions and thoughts, reminding me as if this was instead a diary of a character's actions in a video game. Most of the chapters after he got settled in the dungeon was literally that, stating actions and improvements. With the lost flair from the starting chapters which were prettt interesting into this filler like writing, I got bored and finally dropped it. If you do however give this a try, I suggest only reading on WebNovel after you read what the old translator had went to so u do not waste money as compared to every other novel on the site, it became premium very early at C14 when the newer ones all start at C40 for pay to read

Honestly it should be this way so authors cam make money as this is similar to a free sample of an ebook, however... for WN novels it is so freaking early

I tried reading this a few years ago before wn translated, and all I remember was I didnt like it. I gave it another try right now and Im not that surprised the translation dropped

So far it seems that the novel is more of a slice of life but with hidden dragon people and slow loli/harem romance. I dont really like these type of stories, so I dropped once I got bored.

I feel like author messed up history a little as I was thinking it was somewhere loke 90s onstead of 2010s as the way the world was beig portrayed so far was somewhat backwater amd old. Especially with how bad the economy portrayed is. Unless if the RMB meant to be dollars

I havent tried that much sports novels, but this appears below average, at least compared to the Almighty Coach thing which was the only one I read into for a while (ended up dropping it due to various reasons). This novel's starting chapter was good, however a system was introduced in the next together with Kobe Bryant. After reading the next chap(s), this novel appears to be more of a fanfic. If you dont have lots of knowledge of basketball, U.S. basketball at that, you wont be able to enjoy this. Especially considering its taking places in 1994, meaning only people above 30 that are big basketball fans might be able to enjoy it to the fullest. The system was also sort of dulled the story. I think it couldve been better to write him practicing in another way instead of directly saying each thing he does. But this is one thing hard to achieve for a book vs a comic and show.

Bet theyll add stuff later on how the players and fans are racist towards him though. But honestly, most american sports players are racist towards asians, at least not as much nowadays though. But I remeber when I was a kid growing up, I was really talented at sports and loved playing them, but they were somewhat racist towards me cause I was half asian (especially when I was a ****), and they think asians arent good at sports. Like if I played with randoms, I usually got picked last towards the end because I look asian somewhat.This novel is taking a decade before I was born so racism wouldve been worse, especially considering that historically America has always been a racist nation compared to other countries. Not to mention that like half if the Chinese authors r racist or just totally avoid other races all together to avoid the topic

For those not in America, it is a (american) football nation. Though basketball is prob second but compared to (american) football where half the nation watches the superbowl (grandfinals) it cant even compare.
