So will he have the sword in the future? For the shadow manipulation, it's not Mahoraga himself per se so much as the technique he is part of, one of Sukuna's best uses of Mahoraga is having pop of out of his shadows to either sneak attack or intercept, it's an inherent ability of all 10 shadows cause they're after all, shadows, so they can merge and emerge from them.

Sage mode? Mate there is no "Natural Energy" in the air, at best, there is Cursed Energy leaked by humans which condenses into Cursed Spirits, it would make way more sense if his "Sage Mode" is the ability to absorb and use ambient Cursed Energy in the air.
