    VINCE

Leaning on the balcony, Jaxon lit up his cigarette as Sam kept turning to look back, "I recognize that man... he is Vince... one of the Toretto's guys."

    lol

"According to this, my strength should be quite above the average whereas my health is kinda fucked up... must be all the drinking." Jaxon shook his head, "So if I can raise my attribute points, I should be able to manually further increase my stats, with that I'll be able to cross the threshold of what is considered humanly possible."

I think it came out weird but what I wanted to express was that his expectation was something cooler, like getting an OP skill but he only ended up with a lock-picking one, hence why he is disappointed and trying to convince himself that it's good enough!

Jaxon shook his head up and down, convincing himself that it was a good skill.

here's the pic of the 'map' or drawing inside of the key

"Is this a treasure map?" Jaxon took out the piece of paper that was stuffed inside the box, immediately opening it, "Hmm- I see... uh huh! yeah, I definitely don't get it."

here's the picture of it opening-up

Jaxon fiddled around the box for a while, until he finally felt a small button-like thing sticking out of the box, pressing it without hesitation, the box opened up into a sun-like pattern, revealing what lay within.

Um... I don't plan on letting anyone know about the system. But perhaps you mean the hidden item? I have yet to add the pictures but the hidden item he got here is the 'key' from the movie The Mummy ... and it's kind of deviating from the plot if he becomes an expert in Egyptian lost language and lore while solving crimes. I'll add the pictures now so hope that'll help...

I think so too, but I figure the problem with these types of novels with so many worlds pushed together is giving the MC too much power. When the MC is capable of being a Marvel hero, it won't make sense for him to investigate people like a detective when he can just beat the shit out of them. I have tried writing these sorts of novels (Building a Guild in a Fiction World using my Gamer System) in the past and I went through a similar problem hence the reason I dropped that one. So with this, I am trying to find a perfect balance between having power and having a reasonable progression through the plot where the character has stakes in the story and isn't just coasting through the story like a god. Anyway, that was a long ass reply lol, but I am glad you're enjoying it.

Yeah it's the movie I know what you did last summer

"Will Willis." Jaxon read his name out loud, "It seems like the father-son duo are both into some freaky shit!" Jaxon looked at Julie, who was staring at the unconscious young man in disbelief.

This is the outfit that both of them wear

The assailant who was dressed from head to toe in the fisherman's garb swung wildly, their movements fueled by rage and desperation. But Jaxon remained calm and focused, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.

    Ray Bronson

The boy next to them was Ray Bronson, Jaxon didn't know much about him other than the fact that he was the one driving when they ran over the killer, and currently, he was working as a fisherman.

    Barry Cox

Jaxon who now knew the whole picture could deduce who these boys were, the one with the bandage around his arm and fresh wounds on his face was Barry Cox, the rich kid who looked extremely displeased at his presence.

Still, thinking about his safety with the possible killer on the loose, he took out his gun, a Glock 19, from the glove box. The gun was the choice of most people in his industry and was a special recommendation from the old man. With its durability, ease of use, and widespread availability of parts and accessories, this was the gun you would want as an everyday carry.
